no issue for me to topup using cc, then make merchant qr payment.

maybe intermittent issue at the time you made payment. try at later time with same/diff merchant.
maybe that time, merchant qr got issue. have you tried other merchant qr?
if due to security reason, possibly hitting monthly limits? or topup limits? try again tomorrow after monthly reset (assuming not yet hitting annual limit)
maybe you made many qr payments at very short time period? perhaps try tomorrow or after few hours.

there are many reasons, not necessary it applies to everyone. it could be intermittent and something specific to your account/usage behavior only.

i reloaded big amount until full around 9k+
Then i scan qr to make payment, showed failed
But i try small amount rm500 passed, but failed when i try again
I try SPlater to this merchant on big amount, passed.
I tried other merchant on small amount yes pass.

yes, think of it this way ... they are finally demarcating the core function into 2 apps: marketplace and financial

shopee app will be the ecom/marketplace app...at most you see the 'linked' shopeepay balance, but no transaction. this allows the app to be standalone, allow faster growth, without oversight of BNM.

shopeepay app will be the financial app, so the wallet topup will be through this app, which logically make sense la. this app will be regulated by BNM due to ewallet element as well as other future financial services (may be regulated by other relevant entity too, eg SC)
