I suddenly received a notification that my ShopeePay account was banned. I don't use it often, as I usually pay with my credit cards. For the last two days, I have chosen PayLater because I can maximize my credit card's monthly cash-back quota.

Has anybody else got the same message, or has anyone else experienced this before? I contacted CS, and they said they need 3-5 working days to solve it.

I believe so. Will I get back my account though? Surely will request macam-macam documents from me.

Wait, PayLater seems has no direct relation to ShopeePay at all. Then, I haven't been using for months already, suddenly banned my account this morning.

Not till that extent a dormant account, I still reload every month.

Oh no wonder because I didn't provide too earlier and yes I received the same email. No choice but to comply now.

Yay, I got back my account too. So fast.
Correct appeal just need to fill in a simple online form, no documents need to be uploaded.

It is from Shopee. The email address is also help@support.shopee.com.my

"We regret to inform you that we have suspended your ShopeePay wallet to protect the security of your ShopeePay account and pursuant to regulatory requirements, as stated in our previous emails [Email Subject: ShopeePay Wallet Information Update], as we did not receive the requested information within the allotted time frame."

- They know we made a complaint for this reason.

I complained via CS on the Shopee app, and a few hours later, I received an email from CS with the ShopeePay Verification Webform link. I filled in the form and replied to the email to ask them to reinstate my account. I checked my account is back, and they also replied that my account is already updated with the latest personal information.

In short, chat with CS on the app to file a case first.

Yes. I remembered I uploaded my IC before for ShopeePay.

How can I make partial payment for BNPL? I planned to maximize my credit card cash back quota and wanted to pay only partially and the remaining later. However, I’m not able to input the amount I wanted, it only takes full amount. Is this not allowed?

Oh crap. This is sad. Hopefully it will be reinstated again.

I tried to eKYC for the latest enhancement and it failed.
I will try again later, I think it is due to my IC not in the frame but it is so difficult to crop to fit into the frame.

I would love to have the 20k per month limit.

My second attempt of eKYC still failed. It kept saying my documents are not clear. I’m going to resubmit again and hope they won’t block me after numerous of failed attempts.

Finally, after the third attempt of eKYC submission, they accepted mine.

That's what I hoped too...

A separate app for ShopeePay is such a good idea. Appreciate that Shopee came out with this idea. I believe the 0% CC charge may not sustain for too long anymore but enjoy it while it lasts.

No such issue on my iPhone. I can see everything.

What’s the reason why did I scan some shops DN QR and the SPayLater is greyed out? I can only pay with ShopeePay.
