i think due to credit card not belonging to shopee users

Err I am using SPayLater to pay Unifi and utilities.

It could be an enticement for u to verify account via spaylater activation.

If I use my CC on my dad's shopee account for just one time, that is a confirm 100% ban? I used the CC on my account before.

They should have included this cs in the retrenchment exercise.

Don't they give Shopee coins anymore when you use ShopeePay at shops? I don't get it anymore. If like this, then there is no point in using it.

Shopee gift card cannot use on bill payment again?

I tried to search but can't really find any posts about it but just heads up to everyone (including Grab Pay).

Few days ago I was dining at a restaurant and attempt to pay my meal using ShopeePay.

Too bad I don't recall the exact balance but the meal cost RM 21.10 and the transaction failed BUT it deducted the balance from my wallet.

Because my new balance is RM 17.93 which is insufficient to pay for the meal and I don't want to hold up the queue, I reload another RM 50 so the total is RM 67.93.

Ok no surprise the next transaction failed because ShopeePay facing issue but that didn't got recorded in my app. So I paid using my Maybank Visa card and still have the receipt with me.

So after back and forth with two Shopee agents, I don't understand why they keep insisting the balance is correct because they refer to the RM 67.93 which is AFTER I reload because the RM 17.93 is insufficient to pay for my meal.

Tough lesson learned here as I realise both ShopeePay and GrabPay have no way to check your wallet balance for every transaction. So it is better to screenshot your balance before you attempt any payment.

I'll later share my screenshots as edit but basically to warn others who stumbled upon this post.

OMG thank you so much for the Wallet Updates section. Totally missed that. 

It tallies up correctly with my calculation that I provided in my post where after the RM 50 reload, it becomes RM 67.93.
