Thanks for your reply.

KL is too far for me. and if any follow up needed, return trip to KL every month will be tiring as well.
Any suggestion of doctor in Penang?

u either have hyper, hypo , cyst or cancer..hopefully its not the fourth one..however, even its cancer, its the least problematic type of cancer and should be easily removed and cured..

hyper or hypo, u will need medication..cyst or cancer have to operate and removed..

that's what I know la from family experience

Yes, your TSH results denote hyperthyroid condition. You definitely need to seek medical advice, and do NOT delay.

Listen to what the endocrinologist says and the recommendation given. Usually, medication is advised, and is lifelong. In some extreme cases, surgery is the best way to go, but the long and the short is, you need to seek professional medical help.

This condition is only life threatening if left untreated for too long. It does not impact too much on your quality of life once a remedy is prescribed and followed.

Quickly consult a endocrinologist and you might be required to redo the blood test and have x-ray.
Did you have any new supplement, medicine or change of lifestyle?
Last time I had high TSH reading too but after redoing the test at hospital, it was normal again. When I thought back, it was the time when I started on contraceptive pill issued by gynae.
Nonetheless, don't postpone on seeking professional opinion.

Most welcome, immediate medication depends on the doctor's medical prognosis.
In most cases, the doctor should be able to provide a starter dose pack, after which you will be placed under observation for the next few weeks to months.

Get ready for constant blood tests, every few weeks to months in order to monitor your T3, T4 and TSH levels. Most importantly as I said from the beginning, is to follow the doctor's advise closely. Do not worry, this is a treatable condition, I have been taking my medication for 20 plus years already.

My condition is opposite of yours, hypothyroidism ... a completely dormant thyroid gland; so it is a lifelong thing for me. If you are fortunate enough, it may be temporary, but even if it is not, just stick to your recommended medication and dose, you will be fine.

No proof on that. But it's the only thing I did differently for that span of time.

Actually it was prescribed by gynae just that once to regulate my hormone, but not long after taking, I feel like something in my throat. Which is why I went to GP and got the first blood test with abnormal TSH reading. The next week I stopped the pills already when taking the second blood test.

Very short time only, didn't even finish the whole packet. I think I stopped for one week before the second test.

Be very careful with detox product. You won't know what they put inside.

Hi

I have just disgnosed low level thyroid yesterday.

I am on a medicine called thyrosit, 1 pill per day for lifetime.

I feel cold hand and feet. Earlier, I have all these feeling, but not to such extreme.

I need to have some support of the some group, so we can share our thoughts and knowledge to deal with it. We can also support each other in the group.

I was diagnosed hyperthyroid 2 years back, was on medication awhile. This year I check and it’s back again with TSH 0.15

Should I go back to the specialist at hospital or I should just go to clinic to get the medicine?
