I prefer at least 72FPS if I have 144Hz monitor - less tearing. esports titles different of course. Just lower down some settings - you'll be surprised that some video settings don't affect quality much yet has noticeable impact on FPS

I would mostly use it for vr games with oculus rift and pc games such as strategy game.

Not sure if strategy games such as tropico 6, anno or the sims use more cpu or not.

Would 1660ti ok for vr or should i aim 2060?

He wants a laptop mainly for making soundtrack. Like DJ kind of things. So he doesn't need a good graphic card but he prefers a large hard disk and anything related to music production. Also, is quadro good? It seems like it's not a popular graphic card, can't really find related info. Thanks sensei
