Wow, thanks for sharing.

Will try to see if it works brows.gif

Btw, bro ZMFong, apologies as I haven't had much time to try out thermal testing. For me, the laptop seems to work fine and not so into thermals after your blogs have helped me with the initial setup. biggrin.gif

wonder if i can post & ask in this thread, it's about my new forge15 received last month

having some problem when playing few open world survival game
it will go hang & kind of "Alt + Tab" itself during gameplay out to desktop, strangely the game doesn't crash or stop responding, i jz need to Alt+Tab again to get back into game & continue playing like nothing happen.

this issue can happen up to 6 times in a day. luckily only few certain games encounter this problem
ark survival evolved, no man's sky, astroneer, surviving mars

anyone have any idea how to solve this ?

forge15 spec:
i7
gtx 1650
2x8gb ram
512 SSD + 1TB SSD
window 10

Is the lenovo Y740 with the 2060 worth it ? Comparing to the similar priced laptops.

How about the thermal and the performance i can squeeze out from it?

There might be better options. It has TB3 and RGB but the keyboard layout and typing feel are not great

May I know your budget? Preferred max weight and min battery life?

My budget is around 5000 to 6500. Weight around 2kgs, i personally do not care much about the weight but i much prefer something low profile and a bit futureproof. since i will bring it to work and also do some gaming at home occasionally. I Do not mind the battery since i will mainly keep it plugged in.

Thanks in advance!

If you don't need TB3, can consider Illegear Prodigy. Under RM5k for a good yet light weight thin and light gaming laptop
