I managed to get 2 units preordered from different stores. Was unsure of the first one (only 50sgd deposit) if it will go through so I tried another store (fully paid)

If both push, I'll just give the other to my sister lol.

I hope these are first batch, as the 2nd batch gets delivered on December.

i want that no loading on ps5 due to the fast ssd so i would wait to play all this new games on ps5 for best experience.

ya thats why.. i believe for ps4 games, they will automatic up the reso and the framerate la and maybe some post processing enhancement. if those optimized one will get raytracing etc. so the ps+ collection should be well optimized. cos they say 100 games will be fully supported during launch.

I managed to get an Amazon preorder in. Just hope it doesn't get cancelled like others have reported.

Hold on, why is everyone assuming that PS4 games on the PS5 will automatically receive an upgrade patch or will play better? Sony could choose to not do anything and just use the excuse of preserving "stability" so they don't have to tell devs to update their games.

Just because MS is doing an exemplary job in backwards compatibility, doesn't mean Sony will follow suit.

i believe those that have 60fps option on ps4 will be stable 60fps on ps5.

I heard the ps5 is able to push up to 4k@120fps using HDMI 2.1

My 2015 TV only supports 4k@60fps. Do you think that's good enough? Is 60fps fluid enough?

I hope we can still get decent performance on older TVs. I Wouldn't want to fork out $$$ on a new TV just to max out the full potential of the machine.

Would a 4k/60Hz TV be good enough..

60FPS because of the port restriction ? Or because max refresh rate is 60hz ?

Most of the higher end TVs are using a native 120hz panel .
On 60hz TV , there are already a lot of problems with motions and judders since they can't do 5:5 pull down correctly.


While I doubt many modern next gen games will be able to run at 4k 120fps , but a 120hz TV has a lot of advantages compare to 60 hz ones .



Bunch of ppl who are screaming for the PS5 , I wonder if half of them even has an appropriate screen to bring out the best of PS5 .
Like buying PS5 to play on a fake HDR or 1080p screen , half of the potential would be going to waste .
