from the Black & White design, now we can understand why Sony wanna postpone the original reveal planned during the peak of BLM protest
If they proceed with reveal during that time, pretty some gonna bone picking Sony for being racist |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Jun 12 2020, 03:52 PM) I'm still waiting for the info where they would reconfirm the original PSVR would work with the PS5 or not. They did mention before it would, but you never know. Literally no mention of VR whatsoever so far which is a bummer for me. Maybe there will be a separate announcement just for VR related stuff, considering not everyone is into that, so I hope there is one. The 3D audio mentioned is the only thing VR related at least. i think there's a very good chance PSVR will be compatible with PS5I just wanna sell off my PSVR if you can't use it with the PS5. More funding for other stuff which will most likely go for the PS5 as well. Still hoping I don't have to spend much for some VR experience on PS5 and just use the old one tho wasn't expect a PS5 HD Camera accessory, as the PS4 camera is as good as paper weight without the PSVR & PSMove since there's a new camera reveal, but not othe VR related accessories like PSVR2 or Move2, i think there's a 80% chance it's compatible with existing PSVR just not all existing VR games are gonna be compatible, especially those games utilizing the camera to detect your DS4 light bar |

it might not fit if the height is that tall |

QUOTE(Edward_Ng @ Jun 15 2020, 11:54 AM) Anyone has any good 4k 60hz 27 inch Monitor with good HDR support which can fully utilsed PS5 feature to recommend in Malaysia? a decent 4K HDR monitor are still pretty expensive, 4K on a 27" is a waste anyway IMOdont think so is worth going for 120hz as advertise when all their game is focus on 4k 30 FPS-60FPS. am i right? IMO also it's better to invest that amount of money to buy a good 42" 4K TV |

well, if playing without the HDR, you're losing out some of the great details, IMO some games are more immersive if play with HDR on
room size is not an issue, i myself also managed to put a 55" TV in my bedroom for gaming, I still can go for 65" if I want, and my room aren't even very big to begin with anyway, RM2.5k budget can get you a decent 50" 4K TV, a last year model Samsung 50" RU7400 with HDR10+ support is less than RM2.5k now, you may can get less than 2k if you hunt around a bit |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Jun 17 2020, 10:26 PM) IMO Sony dropped the ball this time with the horizontal placement designlooks ugly when placed horizontally, just look very out of place, feels like the drive was added on as an afterthought This post has been edited by greyshadow: Jun 18 2020, 09:32 AM |

if you look at the pic closely, looks like we'll need a horizontal stand if we wanna put it horizontally
OMG that's really a big fck up from Sony, will be worst is if it wasn't bundled together and have to be purchased separately as accessories |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jun 21 2020, 07:11 PM) Sigh. well, everything sure got criticsWhen the PS1 was first unveiled, people said it looks like a cramped boombox with a disc player. When the PS2 was first unveiled, people said it looks like some weird cut out of a building. When the PS3 was first unveiled, people said it looks too big, too glossy and people hated that they went with a Spider-Man font. When the PS4 was first unveiled, people said it's a copy of a PS2 just slimmer. Guess where we are at now? but since PS1 till PS4, me and my group of gamer friends has no or minimum complaint about the console designs but with PS5? there are more critic and praise with it's design, especially the horizontal placement design |

with the adaptive triggers, I'm having serious doubt the battery life can be better than the existing DS4, I think the most will be on par only.
Jamming up the trigger in certain games is a novelty idea, but in the long run IMO it might caused high wear & tear of the trigger servo motor & it's mechanism, ending with lots of dead R2 |

IINM DS4 is using 1000mAh only
DualSense is 1526mAh, so that's a 50% increase, minus off the bright light bar which is the juice waster but with adaptive triggers which will consume more juice, I would say batt life should be similar to DS4 |

First, the official launch by Sony M'sia will have very limited stocks
Second, it's likely there will be worldwide shortage during and shortly after launch Third, expect the price will went sky high until Sony can solve their supply issues |

My Arctis wireless headset is using toslink also
once you've used that, there's no way you gonna go back to the inferior quality of USB wireless audio |
