Do they still have T&G or Boost payment vouchers these days?

I'm checking out with CIMB Debit Card, but the transaction keeps failing AFTER inputting the 6-digit TAC. This is the final step in the checkout process. Any idea on what's the issue?

I've never used this CIMB Debit Card for online/offline purchases before. I've also never had this issue when checking out with any credit card.

The accounting treatment of Shopee coins is indeed an interesting subject matter, as I grappled with it myself.

However, I have settled on the coins being accounted for during SPENDING, not EARNING.

1) If I buy RM8 item, get 500 coins and redeem 200 coins. My net spend is RM6.

2) If I buy RM20 item, get 500 coins but can't redeem any coins. My net spend is RM20.

3) If I buy RM10 item, get 0 coins and redeem 250 coins. My net spend is RM7.50.

4) If I buy RM30 item, get 500 coins and redeem 750 coins. My net spend is RM22.50.

5) If I buy RM5 item, get 500 coins and redeem 125 coins. My net spend is RM3.75.

I use this method since I now have more coins than I can spend. Earned too many in Dec 2021 and Jan 2022. Also, nowadays use Shopeepay almost anywhere there is QR pay, get 3% coins cashback also. So there's just too many coins, but for now I can keep "rolling" them as I buy household essentials and pay bills on Shopee.

EDIT: The dumbest people are those who consider the coins as savings when both earning them, AND spending them. That's just plain silly.

The key is, you CANNOT saja saja buy because of the coins. Some people justify, let's buy this RM5 stuff because get 500 coins cashback, that's dumb. Unless it is a thing you memang need. Otherwise, it is NOT free. To avoid this fallacy, I do not consider the coins a saving when it is earned while making a purchase, rather only during redemption.
