Dang. So instead of accepting RM500 that he offered (that you wouldn't see anyway), you gave him RM2000 more?

This is gonna get gud. I sense someone will not like the outcome of it.

Oh damn my prediction was right on.

You claimed they had no ethics by "selling" the car to another person. Yet you trusted whatever this person said and banked in another 2k. Damn logic.

When everyone asked u to take back your money and move on to another car, you tried to act tough and wanted to report and sue them to hellhole.

That guy must be shaking his head cannot believe his luck for finding someone like you.

Okay. TLDR. Let me make this short.

-TS banked in Rm500 as booking fee for a car he has not inspected to an unknown seller masquerading as a used car dealer.

-The usual scam tactics - A deal to good to be true.

-The seller @ conman then upped his game by asking TS to bank in more deposit (Rm2000) to seal the deal as the original owner of the car have to pay back Ah Long.

-So TS ended up Rm500+Rm2000 = Rm2500 poorer.

I too stupid to fall for the deal. Because i want to buy a second hand car for my daughter as she will study at uni soon. I was too rush and too trusted with the seller.

Actually that account already got many police report. I was too rush and not calm and fallen to his trap.

It's ok bro, learn from your mistake and experience. Even-thought it's painful, thanks for sharing your experience in here.

And if you had listen to our warnings telling u to accept the refund, you wouldn't have lost another RM2k, right?

RM500 whether he really refund anot is one thing, but the additional RM2k is definitely your own stupidity born out of ego and stuborness.

I would recommend you to just take back to RM500. Don't play with car dealer. Later no return deposit you will cry. They are known for their unreliability  sweat.gif

This is an interesting update..

Instead of taking the refund rm500, you got scammed a further rm2000?

Now, which of your story is true? Did he really offer you a rm500 refund?
