I have booked a car with a car salesman this afternoon. I have paid RM500 deposit. (Afternoon time)

Then his boss called and told me that the current car owner demanding further 2k to pay ah long urgent. If i dont pay 2k, then the deal is cancel. So i trust and banked in extra 2k (night time around 11.30pm)

This morning they blocked my number.

I got conned total 2.5k. Very frustrated now.

He blocked my whatsapp but i used another number to text him about the car and he still replying to my new number. It means his scamming activities are still ongoing.



I have called the company and the boss said i am the 6th victim. After prepare all the evidence i will lodge a police report. I blame for my own stupidity for trusting him.

I hope there is no more further victim. Whoever knows this person please contact me. You will be paid if your information is genuine.

I would recommend you to just take back to RM500. Don't play with car dealer. Later no return deposit you will cry. They are known for their unreliability

Take the money back and move on. It's just a car. Later u push the button ....car dealer cut your brake hose....then u know

maybe ask for transport /time compensation enuf . Demanding double the deposit really bodo.

But that is not considered as cheating? After paid up but goods cannot be delivered. Sad.

Now the deal turned sour, u better take ur 500 and jus expose them on social media. Or u can go for tribunal or smthg

I dont mind about the money but just cannot accept their ethics. I dont believe the owner suddenly dont want to sell. Maybe his other salesman suddenly sold the car to another buyer. And then lied to me me this excuse.

- TS pay RM500 to broker as booking fee for a used car.

- deal fell through, broker offer to refund the full RM500.

- TS want to make police report.

What crime has been committed here?

I will consult lawyer, tribunal, police and then viral his business in FB. This dealer boss very ridiculous and bad.
