OL 3rd row not suitable for adult.. nice exterior design..look steady. test drive 2.0 acceptable power.. 2.4 never test as 1st rule not applied.. its 5+2.. most owner review aircond not big problem for them... still can reach 3rd row..

Honestly i like it but hard to access 3rd row.. Most suitable are sorento n cx8 (if suv)

try servey for Toyota Voxy / Noah.
for me better Voxy than Innova.

Or Toyota Esquire, the updated version for Voxy.
Aka - The mini Alphard. Truly Alphard lookalike.

Sadly no one cares about the Voxy , but rather go for either newer Vellfire facelift or the old AH20 Vellfire (which is less than RM 100K second hand now).
Also because its a 6 seater ; 2 at the back , 2 captain seat , 1 front passenger and driver.

Innova is a body-on-frame chassis which is more suitable for pickups, trucks or off-road vehicle.

I tested xpander, even already booked it. But the waiting period is so damn long. Cancelled my booking. Then tested Innova 2.0X, feel glad that I cancelled xpander. Just booked an Innova a few days ago.

Yup.. and I'm satisfied till today.. Meet my requirement.. I can say no wrong if u looking for reliable car for long term and reasonable maintenance.. Got recall for fuel pump replacement but will wait for next service.. No issue..

Still I don't quite get how UMW and Malaysians can get away with a 2.0L petrol engine, with a measly 183NM pulling a 1.7 ton (1,735KG to be exact) empty weight. Haven't include the humans and luggage yet.

Toyota should have added a 2.4L diesel option for the top of the range model. 400NM of torque, quoted from the Hilux, is appealing.

I bought 2022 Innova X after considered & test drove several MPVs:

Aruz
pros: cheapest, good FC, easy to maintain
cons: underpower, too much body roll during cornering, lesser space than innova

KGC
pros: spacious interior & boot, diesel powered, good FC
cons: cost (price 180k, road tax & insurance 4k/yr, suv tyre 2k/change), too huge & wide for malaysian parking spots

Xpander
pros: nice exterior design, high ground clearance, good FC, easy to maintain, drives like a sedan
cons: lesser interior space than innova, 2 airbags only, no 3rd row aircond vents

Serena
pros: sliding door, spacious (low floor & high head clearance), clever boot mechanisms
cons: price 158k, slow pedal response, very noticeable body roll, tiny 360' camera display, common absorber & compressor problems

Innova X...IMHO this has the balance between all those other MPVs
pros:
- price 130k, road tax & insurance 1-2k, 17' non suv tyres below 2k/change, more available spare parts
- 7 airbags, tough ladder frame, high ground clearance
- refined ride comfort, lesser body roll than serena, third row aircond vents,
- toyota- a brand well known for reliability & toughness
cons:
- underpowered engine thus high FC- laju-laju nak pegi mana? minyak lebih kurg exora je..i can tolerate rm100/week for petrol...proper gearing will do for overtaking..
- high floor- now there are running boards available for innova x
- less boot space- i already installed roof box

Curious, did you consider the new Alza ?

5 months...booking in Dec 2021 & delivered May 2022...lucky to have booked during tax holiday

New Alza was only a rumour during my survey...but I will stick to Innova anyway because of higher ground clearance..
