Some good news. Lazada has offer on Huawei B618-65d modem. Current price $680. Sales on 12 July is $649. Store is MaxSpeed.

[Disclaimer: Do not know seller nor have any affiliation with him. So buy at your own risk]

So for those that are scared TM might lock your Huawei modem or those intending to buy the modem, here's your chance to grab it.

Wah, that means UniFi Mobile will have new unlimited plan soon. Anyway, the speed is not so great compared to Digi, I will skip for now. tongue.gif Good for those with good UniFi Mobile coverage.

Unifi Mobile is using 4G or 4G LTE signal ? No coverage for Unifi Mobile in Sarawak ?

4G or LTE is the same. Never heard of 4G LTE before. laugh.gif
Not sure about the coverage but UniFi Mobile's coverage is definitely not as good as the Big 4 telcos.

saitong09 Disabling the auto update doesn't work as Huawei can force update. Anyway, I already have the modem. Just putting it out there for those who are thinking of having it. But somebody did mention that the item being sold 'could be from TM'. So whoever who is thinking of buying that, buy at your own risk

Was thinking of buying B618 but looking at the recent posts, I'm having second thoughts now. Will Huawei release a similar modem/router in the near future? How long has B618 been in the market?

I thought the question is about 4G avaibility in sarawak for unifi mobile...

I went to sarawak around june 2017..

That time 4G coverage is okay..all band 5 only...not fast..but acceptable..

I dont know of unifi broadband(mobile) would use different mechanism compare to unifi mobile postpaid or bebas prepaid

ya,a bit confuse,TM point told me there is no 4G coverage for Sarawak yet, therefore i cannot subcride "4G LTE Wireless Broadband".Also, they mentioned another alternative is "Unifi Mobile",but need to insert the sim card into mobile phone, and with limited tethering quota ..... ?

so,Unifi Mobile using 3G signal ? or 4G LTE Wireless Broadband not using 4G but 4G LTE ?
