ya,a bit confuse,TM point told me there is no 4G coverage for Sarawak yet, therefore i cannot subcride "4G LTE Wireless Broadband".Also, they mentioned another alternative is "Unifi Mobile",but need to insert the sim card into mobile phone, and with limited tethering quota ..... ?

so,Unifi Mobile using 3G signal ? or 4G LTE Wireless Broadband not using 4G but 4G LTE ?
*
I can't really remember already but it is something like that--TM staff ever mentioned unifi mobile uses 3G and 4G but the wireless broadband is 4G+ That's why even if your unifi mobile has signal, it doesn't mean your wireless broadband has the signal.
Somebody, pls correct me if I'm wrong

Where to download official latest firmware for 65d? Mine still stuck at 11.195.03.00.1272 and online update said this version is up-to-date.

Not really an appropriate place to post this but since alot here are using i150 to get away with "port full" or "no port". This might interest you.

*ignore. Thought it was a new deal but only for Sabah.*

Eventually TNB and SACOFA will open up to all ISPs in Malaysia to offer fibre broadband.

This will pressure TM to follow suit as well with the monopolised failing HSBB network which forces all wholesale buyers to use their active equipment such as routers/ports and BTU.

The model that TNB and SACOFA uses are very different. They only rent dark spare fibre strands to companies willing to become ISPs. So everyone has their own BTU,switches and routers.

Which telekom package is the one with the B618 - 65d? Was looking around Unifi site cannot find.
I'm stuck in some jungle apparently no unifi and Streamyx is so damn expensive so i'm looking for alternatives and research led to this topic

Seems like TM is shutting the plan for us to get the B618.
I've been to two appointed TMpoints in Penang and they said that the unit and package is not being offered anymore due to "sudden suspension".

Seems like they also know that we're getting the discounted unit but using other telco's internet subscriptions.

Can anyone clarify or confirm this? Thanks

I see some B618-25d on lazada that are apparently unlocked. Would those work with digi?

Thank you.

They are unwilling to tell more details about this unifi Air.
It's being rolled out as we speak and offered for streamyx subscribers.

If ONLY Streamyx users can subscribe, TM is making people more and more annoyed.
Paying RM110 (Streamyx) + RM79 (unifi Air with unknown speed), wonder who gonna take these?

Maybe its people who subscribed for Streamyx, they can now change to Unifi air? But don't make sense either right as Unifi air cheaper than Streamyx.

Hi, I'm one of those with the celcom unit that got blocked. Unifi is finally available at my place and I'm thinking to apply.
Can I use the b618 as the router instead of whenever router provided by unifi? Can b618 be used for fibre broadband? Will it be better, ie better wifi coverage for the house?
