Back on your question, SoCar have system that detect if doors are shut and locked. It’s their problem for cheap out at bonnet if they can’t detect if bonnet is locked when car is returned.

with this socar, i rather take grab car unless you want to show off.     

What to show off? All normal car only. Except maybe the Mini, but then, it's not even Cooper S.
