Update 04/04 0937am : No person contact me from SoCar although stated will contact, maybe end of the world only call me. KPDNKK filed and Bank Dispute is completed.
I rent a Socar on 31/03 from 1300 to 1600. Charges all charged before the rental period and end of the rental period, at 1600, they charged for extra mileage. Ok la, i use exceed 60km then I pay extra, absolutely fine.
After 2 days, on 02/04 2.15AM, when I was sleeping, my card got charged with two transaction, RM100 and RM120 respectively. Then, Socar send me message saying I was charged for a battery change. When I woke up next morning, I am full of question mark, so I also proceed to ask Socar what are the charges.
Me : Why am i being charge for an extra of RM220 and for battery change?
Socar : because we found out battery was missing during ur rental period, so the charges applies to u. We have the proof of the battery was lost.
Me : show me proof with date and time.
Socar : we can't show u now. U can go make police report, we have the solid proof.
Me : Ask ur manager call me today (03/04).
Issue : when we rent car, once the car return, anything happens is not in our custody. When we return, we need to submit front,back,left and right picture of the car before the submission can be complete.
Socar is like telling me after i return the car till before next booking, the period is under my liability. WTF?
Sekalian, please change payment type to debit card with minimum amount inside, socar don't allow to remove card if only have one card. By all means, please avoid using credit card in socar and I fully boycott socar.
