You need to backup your current 60GB contents to any externall media (HDD, USB thumbrive, etc) using 'Backup Utility; and then restore it back to your new HDD.

Heavenly Sword Demo Completed and Ready for Release!



Chief Technology Developer Ninja Mikey of Ninja Theory has posted his thoughts of E3 on the Official Ninja Theory forum. And with it one final thought on the Heavenly Sword demo:

"Well, let me just tell you all that the dev team has finished work on the demo.. that's it... it's in the bag... so now it's a case of Sony deciding when they feel is the best time to release it to PlayStation Network."

Plus for the complete game: "The Ninja team is now in the closing stage of development. We are quite literally fixing bugs and then it's done."

Picking up the PS3 version of DiRT? It's ready to rumble



John Yan recently took the time to tour the booths at E3 and came away with his impressions for a few games, but one bit near the end caught our attention above all else. He saw the PS3 version of Colin McRae's DiRT and claimed it looked more refined than the 360 and PC counterparts. We're not worried about the graphics and all that, though. There was something else that piqued our interest.

There was a rumble option in the game's options screen. John asked the folks showcasing the game if the rumble feature would exist in the final product for the PS3 and they answered yes. DiRT is prepared to take advantage of the new rumble feature coming to the Sixaxis controller in a matter of months.

Isn't that exciting? The controller isn't out yet, but game developers are already prepared to offer the feature in their games. It's great news for all of us, especially those who really need to feel some vibrations in their hands. You know who you are!

You can use DualShock2 with rumble only to play PS2 games. I tried with Gran Turismo 3 before, and rumble is there. But, you need the adapter.

Loco Roco for PS3 Confirmed!

A cameo appearance as part of Sony's Home announcement earlier this year was confirmation enough for many, but today Sony finally made it official: LocoRoco is coming to your living room. Tentatively titled Buu Buu Cocoreccho! by LocoRoco, this PS3 sequel is set to be made available as a PlayStation Network download.

We have just a few details at this point, and none of them shed any real light on what we can expect from the game. Sony describes the game as "It's LocoRoco, but it's not -- a peculiar extra chapter." That, and a sentence with three different uses of the world play: "Even if you don't play it [as in control the game], the world and the LocoRoco will play [as in both playing amongst themselves and as in playing back like a video] on their own."

Whatever all that means, the PS3 version of LocoRoco is said to feature 200 LocoRoco characters in a new world. You'll be able to use the SixAxis for motion-based controls.

While release information was not announced, the game is listed by Sony as being 95% complete, so we don't expect the wait to be too long. For now, get a sampler through the first screenshot in our media section below.

I see, coz I just contacted Bernard, he got stock already but Region 3. And he said the menu is in Chinese. Need to reconfirm again with you. If Chinese menu, I guess have to wait for Region 2.
