Hi.

Me early 40s...58kg...5'7'

Did medical checkup.

Doctor said under weight...should be 62kg.

But overall is good.

Fat inside body is level 4 of 10.

I can jog 1 hour once a week.
Lift weights every morning.

Barbell 26kg - curl 10 reps
Situps 50 x 2 sets
Scissor legs 50 x 2 sets
Planking 1 minute
Push ups 2 sets x 15 reps

In a week I did a lot of fasting.

Seems like the fat on the belly are just difficult to get rid off just by fasting.

Will Appeton Weight Gain help build my muscles?

Based on your post, I understand that you want 2 things: gain weight and lose 'belly fat'

1. You're underweight, but you did a lot of fasting? once a week is ok for health purposes. But you want to gain weight but fast regularly?

2. Your workout sucks. All you're doing are ab exercises. You need to do compound exercise. squats, deadlifts, bench press etc

3. You can't spot reduce fat. Fat is burned all over your body, not in 1 particular area. Doing ab workouts will not help you lose belly fat

4. When you exercise regularly, especially lifting weights, you'll get hungry. No need for appeton weight gain

5. Lifting, especially compound exercise will help your muscles grow and help you gain 'healthy' weight. By 'healthy' I mean muscle, not fat. you don't want to add fat just for the sake of gaining weight

Please eat more for now and go to the gym doing "base" exercises like squats and deadlifts especially. They along with lot of foood will help you to gain some weight, with fat for sure, and only after that you will try to move in correct direction. So how does that sounds ?wink.gif
