not to forget the cinema opening in 1 borneo. save a lot of "tambang" to go to KK. you Juniors are pretty damn lucky.

not to mention the shops.

btw, juniors.. advice from me. if you have the chance to join any activity.. take it.. take a role in the activity.. that cheap certificates that you get will make your little resume look very nice. trust me... but dont let it affect your study.

and UMS use english as its teaching medium, whether you like it or not. but in the end, you will get the benefits.

sigh.. how i wish i can reach sabah by land.. Then i dont have to worry bout my transportation if i ever get selected there..

Well. nowadays transportation from West Msia to KK is easy. Just book online on selected airlines. If you are from areas that cannot fly direct to KK, drive or ride a taxi/ bus to KLIA/ or LCCT << if not mistaken. People think UMS is far away from KK, but I don't think so. Who knows next time the government build a bridge from West Msia to Sabah. But it's so impossible , too far. >.>

going kk,sabah has been much convenient!!
now that mas and airasia are competing on their low price campaign, it's easy to get a cheap air fare now...juniors are so lucky now....

ums is not far at all from kk town....just few minutes drive, or longer if by bus...but now that the 1borneo is opened, i guess there is less need to go to kk town, save time and bus fare how lucky the juniors now!!

there is no worry bout transportation from KL to KK.. it only took u 4-5 hours to travel from ur house to ums hostel.. it is even took lesser time to travel from uum to KL.. hahaha.. but transportation within KK.. hm.. reli nd to think bout it to get a own transportation.. coz uni bus, public bus service .. sucks..

yea.. i wish it's near to penang cuz i can get back home more often.. too bad it's so far.. that's why i choose uum.. plus my mum wouldnt let me go there.. she worried bout my safety..

hey.. wanna ask sumthin bout "clothes"( for girls )...
its stated that we have to wear long sleeve with collar...

so, what about 3/4 sleeve or short sleeve formal clothes?cant wear?
and shoes...must it cover the whole foot? or ....?

hahaha..no need wan lah....perhaps for the orientation week, yes....but not till the extend must wear long sleeves...as long as you 'berpakaian sopan'...

after the orientation week, just wear whatever lah....but dont wear miniskirt and bare back lah...oh, btw, ums has formal days - monday, wednesday and thursday - where you have to wear professionally (",)
