I have cimb preferred Visa infinite which entitle for unlimited access to premium lounge, and also one supplementary card for my wife, can I know that the supplementary card can enter for free or chargeable?

The customer service staff told me is chargeable which my wife is also a preferred customer, but I read through forum they said is free, I'm so confused

Besides, if morning I use it at penang airport, then after that I reach KL, on the same day, can I swipe to enter again?

Very confusing, I called to CIMB customer service just now, they said supp cardholder must be preferred member to enjoy free entry. But the branch manager (I think he is quite high position in the bank) told me cannot. Anyone can confirm this?

the only supp card i heard before is Ambank. CIMB was always principal only. Although since you mention wife also preferred, why dont she get her own card?

I think that is correct, the eligibility is being preferred member, not the card....so a preferred member can enter, either as principal or supp.....

The other bank cc allowing supps to enter is rhb.....

if she has the FD / $$$ to be preferred , ask them for a secured card. Can't even believe the RM dont do anything.

I really very frustrated, again I called to CS, and now they told me only applicable to Principal cardholder, they don't recognise supp card. Very tiring for it. Do you guys can give me any suggestion as my wife does not meet the salary requirement to apply for VI. I aim for VI instead of WMC because it does not need to pay annual fee.

As I read around, SC and Ambank the most popular. But SC need to swipe 10k per year for annual fee waiver, or else charge rm800 that's why not considering it.

As for ambank, I realise it is free for annual fee, but only myself eligible to apply, can I apply myself and use it to let my wife enter PPL?

Do note you need to spend 500 each time you enter.....

Talk to your RM or the Preferred counter. Request a secured credit card (basically put an FD and the FD is locked) for your wife

Yes on the ambank card but the lounge access don't overlap overseas.
