This is very subjective to the acquiring bank.

Like aeon and SCB- they will bill the bank and it is up to the bank to charge you. They won’t know if you’ve used up your entitlement or not.

Using Cards like amb will tell u upfront. My kolik didn’t know amb plat no longer offers the privilege and was told chargeable. So I offered DP for his access and was told to make sure it is within entitlement otherwise chargeable too.

So best to find out the eligibility before entering.

You can also dine at TGM at 11pm (close at 1am) and then T1 lounge after 12...

There is no rule that limits entry to day of departure only....a flight may be 2am, and you can enter at 10pm the day before.....

I have transited overnight at Changi, ate dinner at tgm, then overnight at ppl.....

As long as you use within the eligibility of your cards....

Maybank can access both tgm and aerotel.....

RHB used to be able to access tgm....but not sure under the revised conditions..... someone maybe can go ask....

the last time I used was last week. Was back from international travel.
The staff just took my boarding pass and waved against the reader. I am not sure if it checks against domestic or international flight, though.

I can't find "International" for PPL KLIA2.

There was a contention whether that refers to the type of travel, or the location....

The gateway lounge was silent, and I have just established that the rhb contract with the lounge still cover domestic travels....maybe someone can go ask tgm about this.....

Hi guys, if i have one Ambank Signature World Master Card & one Ambank Signature Visa Infinite Card. can i use one to bring 1 extra people go in with me?

In the past, yes.....even after the change in rules (which wasn't very clear about this) it was still possible to bring a guest using the other card in September last year (personal experience).....

What we need is to test it in real life....so maybe someone can try it out now and let us know.....

seems clearer now...while most banks haven't made any clear ruling, except ambank, the lounges have decided to apply the same principle and disallow using 2 or more cards from the same bank at the same time....

the next question is, what if using at different lounges, on the same calendar day?....say someone transiting in changi, uses one card in klia, and then a different card from the same bank at changi...?

it also now, in the light of the sst tax on cc, raise the question of whether it's worth holding multiple cards from the same bank....

Yes, usually GL is for business class travellers and now can get free vouchers to enter. I like their laksa.

It is debatable whether the GL or a PPL is better, it depends on the location....

GL is mas's business class lounge....entry is either business class travellers, or enrich gold and above frequent flyer (travelling any class)...,plus all equivalent oneworld travellers (business class ticket or sapphire/emerald status)....the international lounges at KLIA are ok, but the domestic ones, including KCH, kk are rather basic, food wise....

On the other hand, some PPL are very good (eg HK, aerotel, Changi) some very bad (wellness spa, ppl l pier).....

There are 2 ppl lounges at the gateway of KLIA2....the original gateway lounge, and the new aerotel lounge.....both have bedrooms for rent.....

CC grants you access to the lounge only, with the gateway one having shower facility....and now both lounges allow a 1hr use of rooms instead....
