In the past, yes.....even after the change in rules (which wasn't very clear about this) it was still possible to bring a guest using the other card in September last year (personal experience).....

What we need is to test it in real life....so maybe someone can try it out now and let us know.....

Maybank has never restricted use of their cards (yet).... it's rhb with their unclear new rules that's the question....as well as using multiple ambank cards at the same time....

They just want identification....they still accept IC/passport.....

It's to the plaza premium group's advantage to accept as many customers as possible....they will try their best to earn your money (well, your bank's money) within the restrictions imposed by the banks....

however, other banks doesn't seem to restrict simultaneous use of cards from the same bank....at least not in their guidelines....

seems clearer now...while most banks haven't made any clear ruling, except ambank, the lounges have decided to apply the same principle and disallow using 2 or more cards from the same bank at the same time....

the next question is, what if using at different lounges, on the same calendar day?....say someone transiting in changi, uses one card in klia, and then a different card from the same bank at changi...?

it also now, in the light of the sst tax on cc, raise the question of whether it's worth holding multiple cards from the same bank....

different lounges....golden lounge with cimb coupon (if flying mh), and ppl with m2c.....

The problem is, it says "cardholder".....and does not address people who holds multiple cards directly..... so if you enter using the wmc, can you enter at another airport using the vi the same day?

My reading is, it should be per card per day....but it's not clear, so the lounges interprets it variably....msian lounges appears stricter, not tested overseas....

Ambank has cut off all domestic access lounges, so no landside access now....

At klia2, you are basically restricted to either the small wellness spa, or the even smaller L pier ppl....

The conditions governing this perk varies depending on the prevailing TnC of the programme....

In your case, the priority banking signature cards allows unlimited entries without conditions, and the same applies for all your supplementary cards....

However, as discussed above, it appears restricted to one entry per calendar day....

The l pier ppl is very small....

Used to be able to get a set meal at the bar as part of your wellness spa entry, but someone said that's discontinued....

As to using your cc entitlement to just get a standalone set meal at the bar, that's gross under-entitlement of the price banks pay to ppl for your use.....the whole point of the entitlement is to be able to rest and enjoy a "private" lounge....

Using an entitlement to have a meal where there is no lounge available is not new....priority pass also allows you to do that at
selected restaurants at Sydney/Melbourne/ool airports.....but your entitlement is something like aud36, and you can order anything from the menu....

The set meal at tgm is not too bad....the Changi one is actually good....but the offerings at the bar is pathetic....

This should always have been the case....

And I hope banks which dropped the landside lounges will now reinstate them...

The GM is a public access restaurant.....run by the ppl group....so it's registered by some banks as in their portfolio of lounges....you get a set menu.....it's not a lounge....

Those asking about features of specific cards, check with the respective bank's websites....the answers are all there....

It is debatable whether the GL or a PPL is better, it depends on the location....

GL is mas's business class lounge....entry is either business class travellers, or enrich gold and above frequent flyer (travelling any class)...,plus all equivalent oneworld travellers (business class ticket or sapphire/emerald status)....the international lounges at KLIA are ok, but the domestic ones, including KCH, kk are rather basic, food wise....

On the other hand, some PPL are very good (eg HK, aerotel, Changi) some very bad (wellness spa, ppl l pier).....

There are 3 GL in KLIA....the main one is the international GL at the satellite building....it's huge, and has a reasonable range of food, plus alcohol, including wine and spirits....the other side is the first class lounge, with ala carte food service.... restricted to first class and platinum status only....

There is a smaller GL at the MTB called the "regional" GL, which is smaller, but not bad as well....

There is then a domestic GL in the domestic area next to gate A2.....rather simple food, no alcohol, no shower.....

No access with Ambank to aerotel....

Mbb vi can access a very wide range of ppl worldwide....it's all in the Maybank website.... I really wish people don't simply post wrong information here....
