Wah. Prepaid so jialat? Cannot even add 3G data? If no LTE coverage meaning no line at all.

...
*
If subscribe to RM99 package (and promo RM59 @ 12 months contract), both LTE and HDSPA are unlimited... No need to buy any HSDPA quota as tabulated below:

Attached Image

Conclusion : After converting the prepaid to postpaid, just get in touch with your lawyer(s) if the above are "misleading"...

hi all,
I signed up UNIFI mobile 99 at RM59 in middle of December 2019. Today I checked my unifi app and saw my bill with amount RM90.80 , half month of usage not rm30? but now rm90.
any idea all sifu. feel like kena trapped by TM
*
Mid December 2019 = RM 59 x (14 days / 31 days) = RM26.65
January 2020 (Advanced aka "Deposit") = RM59.00

Grand total
= (RM26.65+ RM59.00) + 6% tax
= RM90.80

I'm interested in port in my number from Hotlink to unifi 59..seems there is with contract..or with out contract..

If I go to TM POINT..can I register unifi 59 with out contract?..
*
In your current telco, transfer your name to either of your parent's name (ensure they are above 60 years old...)

After cooling period is over (current telco perhaps 1 month), can already MNP to UniFi Mobile RM59 Special Senior Citizens Pack...

Looks like our parents and grand parents can wallop 1 DomegrotteByte monthly... LOL..no wonder that old man in the pix above smiling like nobody business...

If don't wanna wait for cooling period or wanna test-drive the network, just register your parent directly to selected nearby TM Points...

Don't use SpeedTest.net... Not the "effective" results without minus "noises" from Malaysia to other countries...

This is the correct way to do speed test... Thankx for the contribution... Please share the same for other places or locations in the future...

Also, we appreciate if there is a battery consumption report during idle as sample below:

This is normal for webe/UniFi Mobile network... Try to fix the phone to constantly connect to LTE (if iOS permits to do so...)

Below is a sample from Pocophone F1:

Those are the ones that is printed in big-big fonts.... We need to read the T&C and then will realize the catch; in which; the main reasons I've banned/blacklisted Maxis and its subsidiaries...

The new Hotlink unlimited look promising. Definitely aggressive move by Maxis. I think later Celcom / Digi will follow the path....
*
Hope so the others will counter back, especially during current economic crisis...

But please understand the T&C before subscribe. There must be a catch beyond the gimmick. However, bill shock moment won't happen in the new Hotlink plan because it is Prepaid plan. It's just a matter of sucking up the credit balance secretly in the background.

However, if Unifi Mobile wanna counter back, I suggest just remove the 12-month contract for RM59 promo and maintaining other perks. It should be enough for people to consider MNP back to UniFi Mobile (me for sure will MNP if this strategy is implemented).

why wanna remove contract when those are guaranteed income?  sweat.gif

Well.... it's a double edged sword... one edge is guaranteed income; the other is customer's loyalty and "trust" will be jeopedised if they see other opportunity(ies) but can't move forward...

haha nowadays no more loyalty la. telco don't reward loyal users, and users will choose the best telco according to their usage. very easy nowadays with MNP.
*
So far I only see DiGi is doing "loyalty program".

They use BOS to lure loyal customers :
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I was with DiGi for 3 years... after I ported out to UMobile, this BOS was introduced immediately... However, I 100% support this BOS strategy as it is not forcing loyal customers to stay and no contract enforced. Also, DiGi can budget special offer to those who is really-really-really loyal to them in order to give maximum perks to their hardcode "fanz"/customers... this is the right way to promote loyalty... It also indirectly promotes their call/data plans and luring MNP effort without any marketing expenses...
