I’ve been reading about this test for a few times already. May I know if this is only recently added? I have never done any tests but I have a 36% risk index portfolio. Or am I missing something here?

1. Stashaway Malaysia can do weekly (auto) DCA?
2. MYR/USD was higher in the past few weeks. Hence, any fresh investments may hurt. Someone's unrealised loss of RM150 was it because of USD depreciated thereafter?
*
You can set up 4 monthly deposits dated 1 week apart if I’m not wrong.

If people had bothered to read some past posts, there would be much much lesser people who will ask "is it good time to go in now?"

Because I swear, lately, that is all I keep seeing. We should stop feeding into these people's laziness because the answer has been the same again and again, they just don't bother to look.

DCA since August 2019, I'd say it's quite alright considering the market's situation.

6.5%:
-1.75% MWR, -0.93% TWR

36%:
-36.63% MWR, -18.39% TWR

hmm on average, human intervention such as mutual funds will higher returns than indexes? Some people argue actually humans cannot beat the market in the long run
*
because in the short run humans can "gamble" but the market does not gamble on/against itself and if they "accidentally" timed the market then of course can be higher than index.

If the portfolio can have averagely more than 6% returns a year, wouldn't it mean the fund will never runs out?
*
That is what many people try to acheive when they build a big income portfolio. If you need 5k a month to live and can generate 5k in returns, you technically have unlimited money.

How many of you have 3 portfolios ? Just wondering

I have 36%, 16%, 6.5%. I put in based on gut feel on the market trend.
*
Me, but all 3 portfolios are for different goals,
6.5% to save enough to buy a house, so DCA largest amount there keep until I need buy house,
10% for general investing, just to diversify from my bursa portfolio, DCA moderate amount plan to keep until I retire maybe,
36% for growth, just a play play account, DCA the least amount.
