respect! like you, I'm still fuming over the reallocation to China & Gold.

but unlike you, i'm still yelling to the moon, dun dare to take action.

because of this reallocation, i'm looking into investing directly into the US ETF of my choice but my head almost meletup trying to find the right broker.

Which is ur shortlisted broker?

IMO, u still can purchase SA and u can follow its allocation at ur broker

Nope. China has potential to recover fast as they exit Covid earlier. While i think US is going recession & the way the administration work dont look great and disappointed.

China will devalue their currency to prevent from overheat thus it will lessen the investment gain tremendously

Looking at US situation and SAMY portfolio have around 50% on US share market .... should we withdraw our investment?
*
I believe some people is so curious why StashAway increased their holdings in Gold on the recent re-optimization and I have read some people even withdraw all of their money from StashAway after the recent balancing.

Tho, I believe this might not tell the whole story, but I believe this might be the part of the story.

The feds have been pumping ETF and stock market since last March. What we are saying might, or might not be, a very high inflated prices against its normal standard deviation. It's good idea to hedge against this thing with gold than getting more exposure to equity ETF until the dust has completely settled.

Stay truly to your investment preference. Don't make a jumpy decisions.

The portfolio managers know better.

RM500 every month since July 2019.

But in the past 3 months during the downturn, I was withdrawing a lot of repayments from P2P and reallocating into StashAway. So I profited a lot on the rebound. TWR at +6% but my MWR way above at +30%, haha.

Anyway, I wasn't intentionally timing the market. I memang fed up with P2P's crappy return and made the decision to shift out all the repayments to StashAway ASAP. Ngam ngam market crash pula, haha.

How much u earned from p2p?

lol true. I have been DCA-ing a large amount every week. I am a little nervous about the way the market is going. In a sense, I have trained myself to think that when the market goes down its good, because I can buy stocks at a cheaper value. But now that the market is inflated, and detached from the real economy. I am thinking of cutting back the amount per DCA, but still continuing DCA.

What is everyone doing with Stashaway currently?
*
Continue DCA because this is the new norm

Sometimes they wait because if they convert large sum of currency and buy large sum of ETF in bulk they will get more discount kick back from broker
