Long term in SA, nope. upside cannot have more positive vibes? so need to feel sad even if it goes up too? kecian. honestly, why so insecure and need to announce that you dump a lump sump before the surge? QUOTE(zstan @ Aug 26 2021, 09:09 AM) Looking back on my buy orders where i mentioned 80% of my fresh funds went to KWEB, when i checked after the actual 2pm updates less than half were invested you win some you lose some, you can't be winning all/everything right.yesterday night only got a second buy order which used up my remaining funds. But of course everyone would be a winner in a bull market. This post has been edited by tehoice: Aug 26 2021, 09:45 AM |

QUOTE(langstrasse @ Aug 31 2021, 05:45 PM) 1 source (DBS Research) saying USD/MYR heading towards 4.4 - so our returns in MYR should increase lol that's why I think it is extremely important for investors to move part of their money outside of Malaysia, if not invested, holding USD/SGD would be better. that's my view. But this is not stashaway already.Of course, other holdings in RM in Malaysian banks will be eroded https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/dbs-...ainst-us-dollar |

QUOTE(Hoshiyuu @ Sep 1 2021, 09:53 AM) Haha, funny you say that, I have an low risk portfolio in SA exclusively to convert and hold my money in USD, even after spot rate fees and management fees it still comes out cheaper than anywhere else... IBKR's conversion rate is also very very competitiveeee.... and not subject to annual management fee, did you ever consider that? |

QUOTE(Hoshiyuu @ Sep 1 2021, 10:07 AM) I have an IBKR account, cost ~2USD to convert from SGD to USD, if I wanted to store SGD, I just put them in CIMB SG account, just RM1 fee with good rates. i like this idea of keeping monies in USD form, really hassle free.Plus they are more troublesome, everything is manual and finnicky. Just auto debit SA and lump sum move when they reach a certain threshold is much more easier, hahaha, plus if I am lucky I even get a 2-3% profit to cover the fees with spare What's the return like for your this particular portolio? i supposed it is the lowest risk index portfolio? and when was the incorporation date of this? if you don't mind sharing. buffa liked this post

QUOTE(honsiong @ Sep 5 2021, 01:41 PM) ![]() "breakeven with the previous high" - do you want breakeven, or break previous high? Breakeven simply means incurring no paper loss. Since I have been depositing the same $ every week, I am effectively in the green on KWEB. Just DCA man, doing that allows stashaway to buy less performing asset every week. |

Also remember, SAMY won't make you rich overnight.
You also will not lose everything overnight. |

i think apart from the ARK, the others certainly look pretty interesting too, especially on the healthcare ones. will take a deeper dive into it and see if it's worthwhile to go.
but wouldn't mind giving it a try with just a small amount. are they being pressured to come out with many other various offerings to match their competitor? |

QUOTE(Medufsaid @ Sep 30 2021, 12:32 AM) doesn't seem like it. i "created" 3 portfolios in yahoo finance at $10,000 each, on the day it was open to SA users, currently healthcare dropped the most dropped the most means would probably be the best buy to me.but of course provided if the fundamental is intact and if you believe in its stories. |

QUOTE(honsiong @ Oct 6 2021, 09:33 AM) If you still use Stashaway, that means you agree with Stashaway. this will happen perpetually bah........ it won't stop, it's just another human behaviour.......Complaining more on forums won't prevent that from happening, they need to see a drop in AUM before they uturn. Also I have been using it for 4 years, it's the same thing - When it goes up everybody diam2 happy, when it goes down people start to bash the team. Same thing for 4 years. reason for you to quit is because you can save more while doing DIY, otherwise for those who are lazy or don't wanna care so much, could still stick with SAMY. |
