The Question is, will ya sell off the Pre-Op SnP Heavy portfolio now, or keep it and let it auto-op?

Wish, just a wish, that SA has an option of not selling any of current asset after the default auto-reoptimization (at least for those regular/DCA investors). Instead, the new fund deposited will be allocated to those ETFs in order to meet the targeted asset allocation over time. In case there is new ETFs introduced after auto-reop, has an option to keep the supposedly axed ETF to let it growth over time. Of cos, I might be totally wrong in the philosophy of SA as well as in practical by having those option of not selling.

The XLE is skyrocketed with 106% gain (at least for my portfolio) as of today.
Let's see will SA take profit from it by selling some/all or continue buying high (like previously kweb went towards ATH).

What is the role of ERAA supposed to act at this juncture of time?
Naked eye can see: war, interest rising, inflation rising, gold rush, black gold uprising.......

Agree and aware on the long term prospect of SA philosophy.

I didn't believe China will have any 'special operation' on Taiwan in my lifetime (I am young 40s). But current happening in the West made think twice on the consequences if that's happening.

It's interest to see where the kweb in SA will bring us to. And most importantly, let us see what and how SA will act on particular kweb eventually.




Quite whisper here, how great if SA opt-out and realize gain from XLE now, before it drop back from heaven to reality when the dust comes down. I might be dead wrong, but this is only my quite whisper at this difficult of time.

Pls share what is the onward action pertaining to the current world events and the latest reopt:

1. Keep DCA, no change on amount and interval, or

2. Keep DCA, with lesser amount and longer interval, or vice versa, or

3. Stop DCA, keep the current Portfolio alive and self running, wait & see, or

4. Sell off immediately of current Portfolio, hold the cash.

No absolute right or wrong. Merely seeking opinion for the sake of discussion and better understanding on SA in tandem with current world event.
