For me opinion, better buy and hold 3 to 5 years. Those active trader hopefully do proper record and report the income into their personal tax, nowadays income tax penalty not cheap. 

Due to Covid-19, Government had given a lot of money to help public. They need to get back some money, since the income tax rate had not increased, what else they can get money - do a lot tax audit to charge the tax under declared & penalty.

Wednesday if market right price trigger to buy

Thursday reflected in your account when US market opens so just be patient since your account is new

1st time takes at least a week

After that will be smoother it will take 3 day so to reflect in your portfolio

The flow of transaction of buy is as follows

Deposit to Citibank under Pacific Trustee will take a day together with FX conversion
Once that’s is verified robo will calculate buy order and send the instructions the broker used to execute the buy order in Saxo which takes another or 2 depending on the market
Day 3  or 4 your portfolio will be shown together with the underlying assets and allocation

Unless you want fast go ahead open IBKR or TSG account used that to trade then

You should use your US portfolio buying growth stocks and ETF because you will expense ratio in particularly QQQ

Robo is only performing your risk assessment and management which will tell you on what portfolio to buy

It is just the same thought process on buying stocks just that it is more complicated because involves different sectors from Equities, Bonds, Fixed Incomes and Commodities on SA and allocation to each sectors

Robo is not AI yet till they’d have Machine Learning with Human Computer Interaction learning then it’s a true

Robo is only at the moment used to speed the process from deposit, submit buy order and execution of the buy order which are underlying still has a human to do programming on the calculations of the buy order

Under transactions once the buy order has been completed

Normal because your account has hit the trigger price yet

Let’s you transfer on Monday before 12pm the buy order will only starts on Tuesday/Wednesday depending on the price that has set by the robo

So by Thursday/Friday you will see the buy order completed

Plus now with the price just rise today you have to be patient because the allocation itself to price trigger

The robo is only happening to calculate buy or entry price

Risk allocation is fixed you just have to choose only

The only thing is you have to get used is to when to deposit your money or time your money the enter which is most important as I never deposit on Thursday or Friday as you will missed on the market actions

Monday is always the best because it will easily execute the buy order plus less news that affected the markets unless something major like wars or natural disasters happen the prior weekend
