Looking at the pic from this news portal, and adding on to what DeniseLau mentioned...
The windshield and driver window pane is intact. No crack, no glass pieces inside the car seat and floor. It doesn't seem like a high speed head-on impact, the cabin didn't deform as mentioned by many of you. The blood pool is on the back of the seat, so I assume she was sitting upright with the seat-belt on, still hanging to it after the impact. |

QUOTE(DeniseLau @ Mar 10 2019, 02:40 PM) Car doesn't look badly damaged, the impact seems very minimal - there has been worse accidents in worse cars with little or no injuries. Yes broPossible reasons for such a serious outcome: 1. Didn't wear seat belt or seat belt faulty 2. Takata airbag faulty, didn't send back for recall 3. Intoxicated - causes blood vessels to dilate, making blood loss worse Not trying to pass judgement, I'm very sorry that she passed away. I'm trying to understand why someone can be fatally injured in what looks like a minor crash. Looking at the interior, the place looks fairly intact. The steering looks like it has risen up a bit but doesn't look like it has come inwards towards the driver. Dashboard, A-Pillar - all looks normal. Hard to say whether or not she was intoxicated, people like this may do singing gigs cafes and bars until late night - or she could just have been going somewhere for whatever reason. Don't tell me you have never in your life driven your car late at night for reasons other than being drunk? Kinda stupid right? If it's young people, at least it still make sense |

QUOTE(AllnGap @ Mar 10 2019, 12:20 AM) Not really like that. Wrong. Wider tyre in wet conditions more likely to aquaplane. My tyres are 235mm. Normal cars is about 165mm. Mine already 50% wider than normal tyres. Difference is a lot, especially cornering. I can drive close to double of speed limit on highway exits turn(like damansara). Let's say 50kmh speed limit, I can go 90kmh even 100 without skidding in dry conditions. Why wide tyres matters ?? Like our weather have heavy rainfall and easily cause aquaplaning. If drive normal car if hit water puddle on right side, will feel steering pulling to right. But with wide tyres and ESC, the car won't run. Can drive with one hand. I've tested many times to trigger skid, but the ESC light never came out (maybe haven't push hard enough but already double of speed limit during corner d) Actually I felt that a lot of ppl don't know the limits of their car. That makes them dangerous. Like some SUV turn turtle, or some car don't have ESC skid into drain in corner...... A narrower tyre will cut through faster because of the profile and greater weight on the contact area. A wider tyre only gives you a covering advantage and better stability in the dry. About skidding, are you sure you're doing it right? |

QUOTE(aspartame @ Mar 10 2019, 12:03 AM) I think those speeding cars like what u mentioned are fiddling with luck... once your tyre lose grip, I dun think any ESC or stability can save u... A car loaded with safety aids like ABS and VSC is more forgiving of idiot drivers but doesn't save them. On the other hand, those who drives slow and careful.. I don't think they need ESC... Sometimes, as they say, cars with full safety feature die faster exactly because drivers feel invincible because of the load of safety features and this theory has its logic... Often times, I see those Audis taking corners on wet road "like nothing" and I fear for their lives... Better to have these safety features than not. If you could spec your car without a safety belt, would you? |

QUOTE(rcracer @ Mar 10 2019, 02:53 PM) tertidur lean forward , crash, air bag fucking smash your head Hmmm....never thought of that...very possible....another possibility: could it be she sat too close to steering wheel? I noticed many girls like to do that...air bag doesnt count how far your face is from steering |

I have some suspicions from looking at the blood on the seat, but not enough info to even speculate into the discussion.
Just RIP. |
