Airbag activated. Not sure if this god car has no-seatbelt-no-airbag logic.

Poor girl drives only dugong. If she drives bigger or better car probably she can survive.

RIP.

That's not dugong. First gen, ncp42.

If u can afford a better car with better safety why not?
Save all the money, but die in an accident because using a rubbish car with no safety feature
*
Tell it to those who preach about buying cheap A-segment cars or old cars, or those who brag about owning a few properties but choose to drive tin can old cars with 2 airbags at most and no ESC.

But what if the car catch fire?

As nowadays cars are prone to catch fire even sikit sikit eksiden.

Like BMW, so expensive and so deadly. All surely got safety features.....

But if catch fire and you are trapped in the car, then burn to death, that is worst death...
*
Tin cans won't catch fire? In addition, how many drivers die from fire compared to die from impact?

QUOTE(AllnGap @ Mar 10 2019, 12:20 AM)
Not really like that.
My tyres are 235mm. Normal cars is about 165mm. Mine already 50% wider than normal tyres.

Difference is a lot, especially cornering. I can drive close to double of speed limit on highway exits turn(like damansara). Let's say 50kmh speed limit, I can go 90kmh even 100 without skidding in dry conditions.

Why wide tyres matters ?? Like our weather have heavy rainfall and easily cause aquaplaning.
If drive normal car if hit water puddle on right side, will feel steering pulling to right. But with wide tyres and ESC, the car won't run. Can drive with one hand.

I've tested many times to trigger skid, but the ESC light never came out (maybe haven't push hard enough but already double of speed limit during corner d)

Actually I felt that a lot of ppl don't know the limits of their car. That makes them dangerous.
Like some SUV turn turtle, or some car don't have ESC skid into drain in corner......
*
Won't wider tyres increase chances of hydroplaning, instead of the other way round?

QUOTE(coyouth @ Mar 10 2019, 12:48 AM)
what is she doing out there at 3am in the morning?
*
What are you doing in /k at 12.48am when you are supposed to be in bed at 10pm?

QUOTE(Marilynlai513 @ Mar 10 2019, 09:44 AM)
I had this G spec car for 8 yrs and its damn reliable. The car that earns the nickname God Car here
Maybe that's her mother first Toyota and the family just want to keep it... It happens all the time
Well these are true hardworking people planning their own Nd next generation future instead of hoping to live in ppr and awaiting handouts fro government

Must be freak accident
*
Reliable yes. Stable, no so. I owned one too.

The Toyota in question is the NCP150 belonging to another chap who said he'd change car soon because his does not have ESC when he bought it in 2015. Hence, I asked why he didn't choose Honda City V spec that came with ESC at that time.

When you are hardworking to get what you want, you won't want everything wiped out in an accident. It will be meaningless you are killed or maimed because you choose to drive a cheap car just to target another property.

There is no such thing as freak accident.

Yes. There was a recall on this Ncp42 and ncp93 models to replace inflators, but afaik, it involved only the passenger side airbag.

"It is learnt that Kong suffered severe injuries to her head."

possible air bag malfunction or not?

or maybe langgar side way
*
In a small-overlap crash, the head tends to slide off the airbag and hit something hard - A pillar, or window.

i mean for this case

got sos say the car overlap?
*
I didn't say she was definitely killed due to this. Just adding another possibility to your question whether there was airbag malfunction or kena hit sideway. Meaning, you don't need to have a malfunction airbag or kena T-bone to suffer serious head injury. Just langgar something small.

many people love this gadget to ignore seat belt warning.
*
And I keep seeing people asking in online forums how to disable seatbelt chime because they find it irritating (which is the intended effect).

These people... I wonder if they buy life/medical insurance.
