We have a slew of really good young talent and our coach has no idea how to utilize them and resorts to playing players such as Alonso who has been poor all season. Needless to say, its just not working out for Sarri. For goodness sake, can we just get a coach who can use these young players?

I think this will be the most crucial game to win if we have any hope for CL football next year.

The worst part about last night was Callum's injury. 6 months layoff. Sigh sad.gif

If we actually finish third, it'll surpass all expectation I had from earlier this year lolz. I actually thought we'd finish 6th and I'm pretty sure most people did as well.

Its great that we've qualified for the CL but the future is a big question mark for the club.
I know Hazard wants to go and have already accepted that'll most likely happen at the end of the season, but what'll happen to CHO and the string of other players who might leave? I'm more anxious about CHO than Hazard at this point. What about Sarri? Is he good enough for another season?

Hazard for sure will leave and hopefully CHO will replace him. Barca and PSG want willian. We should sell him since we already got Pulisic.

Reece James for sure will be starting RB next season and our RB back issue solved already. Zouma also maybe come back. So already got replacement for Cahill.

If we can sign players, we need to find back up for jorginho, and most important Jovic as striker.

I really hope so, we have great potential in our youngsters. Hoping to see more of Ampadu next season as well. Sarri needs to trust in the young players a bit more. RLC is a good example (I hope his back injury wont haunt him though).

I think we get 3rd place purely due to luck
3 teams bottle up when we should've been 6th

But I do hope Sarri stay on, and have a full preseason with the club.

I wonder if the transfer ban is lifted who & what position will we buy?
RW - Pulisic LW - CHO
Backup in Pedro. Willian still got rumor barca going to get him. Hazard confirm Real Madrid now?
I think if Hazard stays, we can sell Willian.

Left back definitely need someone new.
CB also need backup, as Luiz's contract left 1 year only.
RB got reccee james that guy is a beast.

Midfield? Can Mount get some gametime next season? If so, dont need to buy or extend Kovacic. Barkley also still with us.
I remember he is a good goalkeeper during the preseason. Why sell him sad.gif

I think we still have a striker problem as well. Higuain on loan till end of the season (Doubt we will renew / buy) + Giroud is aging and better suited as a sub. Or we could recall Tammy Abraham and give him a shot.

I'm quite impressed with Liverpool honestly, its almost an impossible task to turn around a 3-0 deficit against the likes of Barcelona especially when you're without Salah and Firmino. There is a certain magic when they play at Anfield that its like they have a 12th player. They'll without a doubt win the CL. As for the PL, it'll depend if Man City bottles it against Brighton. Klopp has built a title challenging team almost from scratch. So he deserves all the credit.

Chelsea can definitely achieve something of the same tbh. We need the right manager and the patience of the fans. We have the young core(RLC, CHO, Ampadu, Tammy, Reece James, Mason) to be good contenders. Our club just needs to place faith in the youngsters.

Trent Alexander managed to trick the entire Barca defense with that corner flick to Origi. shocking.gif

Whoever within the management who thought it was a good idea to schedule a game in another continent prior to a Cup final, I truly applaud your stupidity. Thanks to whoever that person is, we have an injured first team player who looks doubtful for the EL final.

With a portion of our first team injured (most of them really long term), I don't fancy our chances for the EL final. Hopefully, lady luck shines brightly on us.

I can't believe we won despite having SO many injuries. And we won so convincingly. Arsenal's defense was SO shit last night. I think we could have won 6-1 or 7-1 if we took our chances as well.

All my Arsenal friends were like "we're going to thrash you guys", "its clearly Arsenal's trophy and you know it" and even the media was hyping up Arsenal for the win. Padan muka.

It just sad star like hazard are all going to Real Madrid.

It was bound to happen. Madrid is his dream club and he always wanted this move.

He knows that he is in his prime now (28) and it's basically now or never. He has delivered us a trophy and its a good time to end his reign at the club on a good note. I think most of us can agree, that he has achieved the legendary status at the club.

I also think most Chelsea fans have accepted it. He deserves the move after all he has put in for the club. I think there is a silver lining though. This will give more opportunities for Callum Hudson Odoi and other youngsters to shine.
