You see the original design of the backdoor is oepning inward, there is a reason for that, its for security concern.

Your new backyard door open outwards, which means the hinges are exposed to the outside, burglar can just remove the hinge and your door will come right off...

Thanks for your advice, I shall discuss again with my contractor on this issue, seriously no experience on this.

AC compressors should be on mounting blocks raised from the floor like thus as shown in the last picture.
*
Is there any issue if not on mounting blocks as you shown? Rain water splash in? Or worry if got flood?

The part after the beam is the extended part for the master room which I'm quite dissatisfied with the existence of the beam after extended.

The final reno cost will be reveal soon because the house haven't ready for move in yet.

Hmm, i guess to keep cost low the beam has to stay. It is a structural beam to hold the house, not easy to remove/replace.
Just dont place your bed under it, bad fengshui

Yes, thats the most headache part because I really plan to combine both my queen size bed which move from old house and new king size bed as I got 2 kids now which I think they not willing to sleep alone yet.

Mainly that and to alleviate from heat stress by avoidance of conduction of excessive heat from the ground.

Same thing. Its always recommended to place the compressor on the riser. The riser should have anti vibration pads as shown in the link given.

Also one more thing, the compressors are placed too close to the wall on its left side for the one the bottom pic I quoted. Its needs space to "breathe" to prevent premature compressor failure due to heat stress. Although York's manual online doesn't show it (but floor support aka risers are shown), Acson's manual does as seen on page 4. Many others will show as does mine too in the manual (pg 35).

Come to think of it, the wall mounted Daikin compressors too. They are too close under the roof eaves. Usually, I would leave at least 8"-12" clearance from under the eaves.
