QUOTE(marquis @ Mar 13 2019, 09:44 AM) If you're talking about the Crash Guard NX (The one that you can put a clear back plate/customise your own back plate), then I feel I should warn you that it scratches quite easily. I've only had mine for a few weeks and I removed it coz it got annoying with all the scratches. I was actually talking about the solidsuit, the microfiber seems nice but not sure about the long term durability of that microfiber finish. This post has been edited by edwankael: Mar 13 2019, 12:22 PM |

I like it too and plan to buy one but then after reading up some of the user comment, it is insanely hard to remove the casing, then i chicken out.. |

Not exactly long term but the microfibre is still nice and soft as day one. That said, I generally take good care of my devices, never leave it on rough, dirty or wet surfaces so I have no idea how it would fare under tougher conditions. What you should worry about is rather the hard plastic part of the case. I’ve only dropped it once, from my bed, so not exactly a tall drop. Instead of just scuff marks or scratches, the plastic coating peels off like skin leaving little torn skin bits sticking out. The peeling is localised to the point of impact so it’s not big, just a slight eyesore. Never tried peeling the plastic bits off because I’m worried doing so might increase the size of the “wound”.Overall, I like it very much, especially that soft microfibre back, would be better if the case is less slippery. |

QUOTE(jason0416 @ Mar 14 2019, 02:17 PM) Hi guys, anybody notice the WiFi connectivity speed on iPhone XS Max is slower? Normal. This is a known issue as Apple uses inferior Intel modems vs the Qualcomm ones used by most Androids due to Apple's legal dispute with Qualcomm.I’m doing WiFi speed test on my iPhone XS Max and OnePlus 6T with the same WiFi connection. But the outcome is freaking shock! Is that only happened to my unit or what ... |

Lol... yeah there’s connectivity issue with intel flying around. At first I though it just the oroblem on connecting to WiFi / 4g. But never expect it will affect the connection speed, and the different are huge! Damn Intel, or else this gonna be my perfect phone. But my previous iPhone 8 & 7+ got the same speed as Max.. apple getting left behind 😭 Anyone using Samsung s10e, 10/10+? Mind to share your experience? Damn tempted on the new “hardware” |

Great piece of hardware but software optimisation is still behind iOS. The 4100mAh battery doesn't get me the same mileage as my iPhone XR based on my normal usage (standby and screen on times combined)But my previous iPhone 8 & 7+ got the same speed as Max.. apple getting left behind 😭 Anyone using Samsung s10e, 10/10+? My hand can handle the size but cannot stand for the weight. My hand is itching with the s10/+. Software wise still IOS better. No doubt. Battery life worst than Xr huh? Could it because of Enxyos instead of snapdragon? Most of the YouTube review shows s10+ plus outperforms xr / xs max |

Currently rocking the UAG plyo on my XS, and it's so hard to remove..but then again, I wouldn't feel secure knowing the case can be taken off easily.Aaaand if you switch cases pretty frequently, it basically means that it'll give you some headroom for when it loosen up overtime. Uhh...I have massive OCD, so it's probably not a case made for me lolOverall, I like it very much, especially that soft microfibre back, would be better if the case is less slippery. I have pretty small hand which handles the SE just fine, but the XS is just so much bigger, slippery case doesn't help at all. I guess I'll seek out other options then. Thanks |

The thing with all those YouTube vids is that they measure screen on time usage and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to conclude the biggest battery will last the longest. In our day to day usage however idle battery drain is also a big factor and that's where iOS shines over Android. I can go 24 hours standby with 4 hours screen time and still have 50% on my XR. With that kinda usage and standby, my S10+ battery life is way below that. It's still early days though, only had the S10+ for a week. Will see if it gets better. My hand is itching with the s10/+. Samsung or is it Android OS just can't get the battery right. The Note 9 was first Sammy with 4K battery. my Realme C with 42K battery beat it. Of course some will say due to screen difference but isn't AMOLED supposed to be power efficient or something like that ... some here keep singing that. now lets see the M20 with 5K! that's all they do - increase RAM and battery size then say yes can last a whole day PS. both Note 9 and S9 plus average use only WA, web, no gaming/ music/ navigation esp navi would've killed the battery faster |

I have another spare phone, an Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 with stock Android and a massive 5000mAh battery. Power management is great but hardware wise, everything about it is as mediocre as it gets, which is to be expected for a RM600 phone now lets see the M20 with 5K! that's all they do - increase RAM and battery size then say yes can last a whole day PS. both Note 9 and S9 plus average use only WA, web, no gaming/ music/ navigation esp navi would've killed the battery faster Makes me curious about a Pixel, if only it was available here officially. |

Like you say, if locally available with warranty then sure would have tried.Makes me curious about a Pixel, if only it was available here officially. Anyway apologies, this is XS thread, sorry to go out of topic. |
