QUOTE(blissandecstasy @ Mar 4 2019, 10:43 PM) Solidsuit microfiber here, so far so good. Only one thing I hate bout this case. Really hard to remove! š¬ How is it holding up? I'm also interested in the microfiber but I'm a little bit worried that it might wore out a lot fasterI'm just so confuse, because I hate the plain black's scrathy plastic feel and the carbon fiber look |

QUOTE(marquis @ Mar 4 2019, 11:39 AM) Xs Max. Using the Crashguard/Dbrand combo. Downside to the crashguard is that it's quite slippery and it's insanely difficult to remove. Other than that, everything seems to be fine. uhh, I didn't use a skin on my XS, so I'll opt for shield with back plate, but I'm super worried that the microfiber might not held up as well as other materialDon't like the solidsuit/any case that covers the whole back...especially since I have a phone skin at the back. Added layer and what not. Have used Rhinoshield since the early days. Gotta say they've only been improving since. If you don't mind a full body case, might wanna look into the Grip V2 (Dbrand). Interesting design and customisation option |

QUOTE(marquis @ Mar 13 2019, 09:44 AM) If you're talking about the Crash Guard NX (The one that you can put a clear back plate/customise your own back plate), then I feel I should warn you that it scratches quite easily. I've only had mine for a few weeks and I removed it coz it got annoying with all the scratches. I was actually talking about the solidsuit, the microfiber seems nice but not sure about the long term durability of that microfiber finish. This post has been edited by edwankael: Mar 13 2019, 12:22 PM |

QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Mar 13 2019, 05:49 PM) I like it too and plan to buy one but then after reading up some of the user comment, it is insanely hard to remove the casing, then i chicken out.. Currently rocking the UAG plyo on my XS, and it's so hard to remove..but then again, I wouldn't feel secure knowing the case can be taken off easily.Aaaand if you switch cases pretty frequently, it basically means that it'll give you some headroom for when it loosen up overtime. QUOTE(Cloud0890 @ Mar 13 2019, 07:25 PM) 4 month user of RhinoShield microfibre solidsuit here. Not exactly long term but the microfibre is still nice and soft as day one. That said, I generally take good care of my devices, never leave it on rough, dirty or wet surfaces so I have no idea how it would fare under tougher conditions. What you should worry about is rather the hard plastic part of the case. Iāve only dropped it once, from my bed, so not exactly a tall drop. Instead of just scuff marks or scratches, the plastic coating peels off like skin leaving little torn skin bits sticking out. The peeling is localised to the point of impact so itās not big, just a slight eyesore. Never tried peeling the plastic bits off because Iām worried doing so might increase the size of the āwoundā. Uhh...I have massive OCD, so it's probably not a case made for me lolOverall, I like it very much, especially that soft microfibre back, would be better if the case is less slippery. I have pretty small hand which handles the SE just fine, but the XS is just so much bigger, slippery case doesn't help at all. I guess I'll seek out other options then. Thanks |

QUOTE(lionn @ Apr 23 2019, 01:20 PM) Not even soft TPU corner? Oh btw, the corner on the plyo doesn't feel soft thoMeanwhile rhinoshield is basically hard polymer with different back material, you can choose wood if you want mine was soft touch fiber (classic black) |

QUOTE(lionn @ Apr 24 2019, 11:23 PM) Yes. Anything thatās silicone or tpu I cannot use it. Or else my hand will got those water bubbles that is very itchy. That's rough, but the rhinoshield solidsuit might work for youno tpu or silicone, even BPA free too Get the one with wood backing just to be safe, or get the mod nx for hard plastic backing ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by edwankael: Apr 25 2019, 10:41 AM |
