Bought from photodata midvalley... go key colour..out of stock. Rm 2599 for A100 body + 18-70mm kit lens + tripod + screen protector + beg(pirated sony) but i need an extra battery for backup.. So i bought another package (that must bought together with the camera) which is rm 199 for the Alpha beg + the sony camera battery.. so total rm 2800 like tat.. Try out the 300mm lens... tempting.. but i let go.. hehe |

And this has proven, when you are choosing your set of lens, you have to know whether what sort of photos you are diving into....don't just like ppl buy, you follow blindly......make your purpose clear.....

minus sports or long range shooting... the kit lens DT1870 + 50mm prime lens + flash unit will be more enough to cover many kinds of situation already.

Currently i got 18-70Kit lens and 50mm 1.7F, but i intended to get a 18-200 soon... I think 70mm is not far enuff if u go for travelling... Me just back from Japan... can't shoot Jap Chic from a far distance la... Scare their BF belasah me...

18-200mm is a very versatile lens, but slow when focusing and soft image at higher focal length.
you might wanna try 55-200mm instead. the tamron version has fast focusing and sharp image. it's quite cheap also. and the 55mm is still acceptable for landscape, although not wide enough compare to 18mm. |
