anyway since I'm new to fiber speed I'm delighted that I can download 8gb in less than 10min or near that time...wahhh really enjoying the speed. yes I'm late to the fiber power. better late than never lol

Congrats! The difference is day and night. That's why I always tell streamyx users to immediately upgrade once their area has fibre.

Yup. Only the 100mbps is available to select via Self-Care. Actually make sense if can't downgrade.
Just that my usage is low, if 50mbps for RM99 is available would be much more suitable.

Actually come to think of it, not much difference also. Your 100mbps is actually RM99 internet +PlayTv RM30. If TM can allow to remove the playtv then it becomes RM99.

I guess TM kinda feels the heat now since more ISPs are offering fibre connectivity including those mobile operators & others like viewqwest etc.
Perhaps next year TNB will offer nationwide internet service that will certainly sucker punch TM real hard tongue.gif
*
The heat mostly in peninsular M'sia. East M'sia I don't think they have much competition.

Agreed,so guys pls dont fall for it esp.those who are just months away! Many jumped ship cos better deals ,TMs marketing a total failure! Once my contract is up I am sure jumping too cool2.gif
*
It's ok for those who plan to stay long time with TM.

Hi guys planning to subscribe to rm89 unifi plan (new user here).

Long time ago we need to pay rm25 for the landline in order to subscribe to hsbb, now this charge still applicable?

Thanks in advanced.
*
No need to pay anymore. But your landline will be RM0.20 pay per use charges if you subscribe the RM89 package. If you want free calls go for the RM129 100mbps.

Me too..dun want to renew contract.

I am actually eyeing DiGi broadband to come to Kuching hopefully. If nothing changes after June then I shall decide whether to stay or not.

I'm using rm129/100mbps. If I subscribe to it, the contract period extends and that's it right? The price remains 129 in 2020?
*
Yes. That's the understanding since 100mbps is only RM129, unless you add on RM30 for the TV box.

Why is there some rumour that TM has RM99 for 50mbps. If so why would people still go for 30mbps at RM89, just diff Rm10 for almost 2x more bandwidth.
*
That Rm99 is only open to selected customers it seems. Not widely available. E.G if your area can't support 100mbps speed.
