Maybe for 800 Mbps, it is RM329 since I notice this amount in my 800 Mbps Unifi account before the perpetual discount to maintain the same price before/after the turbo upgrade.
*
think so too.

from latest offer 300mbps for rm199, i doubt 500 or 800 will be cheaper than previous prices.

800... rm329... think same for everyone...

a matter of discount... 200, 210, 220, 230... becomes 129, 119, 109, 99.

then, for unifi tv, add rm0, 30, 60... = 259, 189, 99... anything goes...

anyone getting rm99?!

unfi people having fun with prices, so should we! laugh.gif

Unifi RM69 + RM30 HyppTV & Free 600 Minutes calls = RM99/mth 100Mbps. If only I can remove the hyppTV, It's a total winning for RM69 for home internet for 100Mbps
*
vvv good for 100mbps, others pay 129 and get less.
i wud think u r VVVIP for 100 mbps. rclxms.gif
but i was referring to 800 mbps.

QUOTE(soonwai @ Apr 16 2019, 07:45 PM)
My 800 is RM99 plus Ultimate 60 = RM159.
*
800mbps+std20+ultimate...

i wud say...

>rm199... ordinary member
179-189... VIP
159-169... VVIP
<149... VVVIP

u r VVIP!! rclxms.gif

oh nice then. I prefer to have it on the tv itself. Dont really like the UI for android box. If mibox confirm can, then that is nice also. That 1 ive seen before the ui macam apple tv.
*
be sure to buy the right tv or box, confirm with current users first.

becos some variations may not be able to do or need special procedures, e.g. mibox has like a dozen models... do check the individual threads here:
https://forum.lowyat.net/HomeEntertainment

lastly... if a device works with unifi playtv app, it most likely will work with astrogo app too.

The 1-month free waiver is applicable to four Unifi plans – 300Mbps at RM199 monthly (usual price: RM219), 100Mbps plus TV bundle at RM159 montly (usual price: RM189), 100Mbps without TV bundle at RM129 monthly and 30MBps plan with 60GB data quota at RM79 monthly.

those paying rm159 or less for 800 mbps must be laughing their butts off.

neh... we already know:

100Mbps plus TV bundle at RM159 montly (usual price: RM189), 100Mbps without TV bundle at RM129 monthly

129 is w/o box, just app only.

nothing good for u, i'm afraid! biggrin.gif

As for me I started with streamyx 3 years ago then after a few upgrades I am now paying rm129 for 300mbps+ultimate+Std20.
*
that is why i say unifi is a sadist:

Hi, guys where can i get a contractor to rewire back my unifi cable outside my hse ? The technician said the cable kaput already.
*
unifi has at least one contractor assigned to any area for cabling.

the unifi technician did not call the contractor for you to discuss job, price, etc.?

*
likely contractor busy, too many jobs... u need to wait.

meanwhile, can pester by calling unifi, keep pushing.

if cable kaput not yr fault, they fix at their cost, u can claim reimbursement for lost days.

if your fault, u nego with contractor how much the cost... typically, u deal/pay direct with contractor.

Wanna ask guys. The outside cable if damage is TM responbility to repair  and bear the cost isn't it?
*
This kind of thing can be subjective.

It depends on what is meant by outside and what caused the failure.

If outside means outside yr land, u hv better argument. More so if reason is unclear and technician is kind.

If it is within yr own land and he could tell someone or somethng within yr control damaged it, tough.

Do lodge complaint if unsatisfied... but u may be left without service for days n weeks.

If it’s a pole based installation, anywhere between the pole and the fibre termination point at the building will be external wiring in which TM is liable to fix it.

I not sure about the newer underground wiring installation.
*
not entirely sure.

but if say the maid or renovation man working in owner's yard accidentally cut or damage the cable somewhere between the pole and building, it will be hard to argue the TM should pay for it.

Hi All, I have an 800Mbps package. Asus RT-AC68U router.
Connect direct via Cat6 cable.
Direct downloads can get 90MB/s +/-.

I torrent can only get 18-20MB/s. Torrent is Public and a lot of seeds.
Can I know what settings I do wrongly?

I am using Bittorrent client and SSD Disk.

Please help Sifus.
*
there are many reasons for not getting full - servers, paid/free, country bottlenecks, diff torrent apps, diff devices...

i'm not a big user but i am sure it is NOT tm throttling.

20MBps is decent, should be happy enough; i get 20 with some devices, 40 with others but not much higher.

maybe prices going up...?

QUOTE
In PAC’s report, published today, the fund’s managing director Shahril Ridza Ridzuan attributed its 21.6 percent drop in net worth to low dividends from its investments, Telekom Malaysia ™ in particular.
He said TM had incurred deep losses in 2018 due to the Pakatan Harapan government’s “sudden” decision to implement the “double the speed, half the price” broadband policy.

Actually since August. I receive a redemption code via email for 4 movies.
*
It was discussed in unifitv thread.

Should be same for all who get... 4 movies every month for a year... aug 2019 to july 2020.

Actually, not too shabby... some new ones but limited.... avengers, spiderman, lion king, aladdin, alita....
