Last time i remember reading an article about using RAID 0 setup on raptors... Makes almost no difference in performance.
But I'm not sure if it's a reliable source. |

i always RAID 0 in my raptor and i got 130MB/S for average read speed.
but better safe than sorry,mirror is good choice than stripe if ur data is important. but,for me,i rather use 2x320gb than 2x74 since their price is same and i'll prefer more space than speed for AV |

I see. I am now using 320MB RAID Ready HDD with RAID 1. But perhaps want more speed because im running my own server while gaming...wakakaka.

How about RAID 5 or RAID 1+0 for normal harddisc, it is more worth compare with 74 X2 Raptor?

That is the other Option too. According to kavin, that one more worth in term money rather than spend for 2 raptor.

well,in performance,the best is raid 0,
raid 5 not every mobo can support while it's at the middle,wan performance,go for stripe 0. |
