so far i go a lot of penang pc shop but in the end only buy from silence koko.

so the rest i dont care since i can get some special price from him.

Makson, i deal with the boss(one of the boss is younger and wear spec) for few times. he is good in my opinion. He used to be in BJ complex branch.

I would recommend him.

Last time i bought a PC from PNX(Onestop). The boss smile so sweet when and before u buy, when i try to claim something, his started to show GY face. Service after sales sxcks!

I used to work for Keypoint and Keypoint is Makson's supplier.

If you have noticed a few years ago, Keypoint suddenly switched to start selling HP and Acer brands of PC and laptops and Makson suddenly could not get any proper good items in their stock for awhile...

That was about the time I left... Together with 3 senior technicians and our supervisor as well... That was nearly the entire Technical department who left the company.

Soon after that, I think they hired a bunch of Malay part time students or fresh grads. Soon, they left as well and I think they tried to shift some of the Stock department personals into the technical department.

I guess no one just wants to work with them anymore and they are left without anyone knowing how to actually troubleshoot and assemble computers. So they are forced to resell computers from another company.

While I only know Keypoint as Makson's supplier, I did realize that Makson's technical person is really weak. They do not understand their products and they could spend hours on the bench trying to figure out how to make a small 200W power supply work for a full tower casing filled with hardware, then later gave up and just mark the power supply as faulty.

I just got so frustrated working in there trying to block all the complaints from the customers (At least 10 per day) which the sales and the management won't take the responsibility.

This guyz only wan to see profit, they juz find cheapest available hardware & sell high prices, but i heard lately Keypoint is doing Import & Export.

When I was in there, they were "Importing" Cheap hardware from Taiwan and exporting most of them to Indonesia.

anyway since..makson is so bad...

which shop u guys recomend in penang?
i need to get a few unitsi am not sure if running down to kl will help me save money to recover the fuel
and also dont want any problem units...then so hard have to send to kl again

i might need 10 units without monitor

BTW BJ have all those fan u need~~ i forget the shop name but i do get a 110CFM fan 12cm at RM25
