TMG free je  brows.gif

2000Yen are reasonable price. If you earn Yen in Japan, 2000 Yen = Rm20
2000 Yen in western eye just 18 dollar / 16 euro = one meal price

Our Ringgit Malaysia just too weak..........

Depends on individual preferences ba. Wife and I have done 6 Japan trips so far, all 6 also stop by Tokyo a few days. Even next year upcoming Sakura trip also Tokyo then only Kansai.

Our favourite city and tourist destination in the whole world 😂
*
If you love that city so much shouldn't keep on going. If not it will become boring like me toward Japan.
Going so much so much until numb liao sad.gif

At least yours has no gender tag, so still OK la kan. Look at my case with female tag but maybe only 2/10 got my gender correct. bangwall.gif
I'm always a dude on LYN. laugh.gif
By the way, for this trip I like Nagasaki, Yufuin and Beppu (the room and hot bath), not really the Hell Tour. laugh.gif
*
I know Yufuin got a mix naked onsen spot. mau try ?

Hello.

Anyone knows whether JR Kansai West Pass can use for JR Expressway bus to Arima Onsen?

or the JR Kansai West Pass included local JR bus only?

I couldnt find much information on it.

What is the best way to Arima Onsen?
*
Local Bus only.

Wait RC you're in Tokyo isn't it.
I always outstation 1 to 3 days only. Once job done, I will take earliest flight back to Malaysia.
Tokyo already had nothing to offer already.

Now at KL

Guys / gals,

For 10d9n Sakura 2020 trip with 6mth old infant, flying in/out of Tokyo (flights can’t be changed), would you:

1. 50/50 split between Tokyo and Kansai
2. Entire trip in Kanto (most days Tokyo, some day trips or overnight trips to nearby areas)
3. Others?
*
I will skip the Kansai part.
Tokyo + Hakone + Lake Kawaguchiko + Aizuwakamatsu

Aizuwakamatsu got best tonkasu in Japan + Scenic Train

Nice. When you meant "chasing after these trains" were you doing literally or really doing it?
*
In Japan I already "chase" all train except one [Shiki Shima]

You mean "chase" as for rushing to work?

I am always fascinated by trains, since when I was a young boy. I look at them but I don't go chasing them.

Oh btw, anybody been to the Train Museum in Nagoya? A must visit for all train enthusiasts. thumbup.gif
*
My chase means experience.

Entire Japan from North to South;East to West. All Limited Express, All Shinkansen Model Including 0 Series & Class also experience already. From cheapest to most expensive

Any railway Line from shortest to longest, From Most North,South,East,West Station of Japan + Highest elevation Station in Japan also "check in".

All Sleeper Train (most of them already retired from service)

My Current most expensive train experience in Japan are Kyushu Seven Star

Now left last to conquer will be [[Shiki Shima]]

4-day itinerary
Fares for this tour on the Seven Stars in Kyushu start at a price of ¥630,000 per person (approximately $5,400 USD).

sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

I think I will skip this.  whistling.gif
Then it would be more than enough. You can buy a quite a bit of street food as you go along. So not necessarily everyday you gotta have the same ramen or rice.
*
Shiki Shima start at 10,000 USD per pax.
Now funding in progress, few more years can conquer this train.

I bought my flight tickets to japan next year, only to know that it falls on the golden week. So had to start doing my planning right now. Was wondering, if anyone had encountered something like "The physical train ticket is not available on the following dates: 27 Apr-6 May, 10-19 Aug, 28 Dec-6 Jan".

Meaning there will not be any train tickets for Shinkansen Bullet Train?
*
You mostly will be in non reserve coach. Inside the non reserve coach you will be standing all the way to your destination.....feel like super fast KTM commuter train.

If you lucky you might get seat if person infront of you get down on station, but when u leave the seat for toilet, another person will take over your seat. biggrin.gif
