Well, Vidio can launch as an OTT app with only its originals. A lot of Malaysians are yearning to watch those. A lot of them are pretty good based on the trailers. If Unifi TV launches Mola Sport, I don't think they'll bring in Mola Golf considering Astro has Golf Channel, so there might be some conflict in terms of broadcasting rights.

Basically for Mola, they can get whatever is on the platform now. If you go to Mola.tv, for Malaysia, there's no golf. So theres that

Well, you do know there's a linear channel called Mola Sport, right? It first launched on Eazie TV (Singapore), then it got expanded to Starhub TV and Singtel TV. But rumours say that those two new things launching next weeks are OTT apps. Just rumours so far.

Fwiw should be similar to how SPOTV does not show badminton on it's linear channel in Malaysia.

If Mola Sport launches, it will have live UFC too, but having NFL back here in Malaysia is a plus (as there was ASN/Sports Illustrated on the HyppSports channel back then).

IMO, I think there's no reason TM continues to air Unifi Sports anymore; since it currently has live UFC, some SPOTV content (MotoGP, AEW Wrestling), and reruns of really old magazine sports (Jom Masak S1, Mencari Ramli S4).

That's ridiculous. They rather fork out money to relaunch a defunct app (Warner Bros. Discovery discontinued the app in the Asian region), but they couldn't afford Discovery linear channels. Seriously?!

Seems there will launch a new china app and a new indonesian app and will change their ruby and aneka pack packaging. This is latest gossip.

And what about old STB, will it still work or it will no longer can use ?

if VIDIO apps is very good bcoz we can watch EPL. now i use vidio for watching EPL. but i need use vpn for geo lock location. only Indonesia can watch EPL. RM18/ month for EPL and all premium channel on VIDIO.

You won't get EPL, even if we get Vidio. Rights are per country, not per app/broadcaster.
