Yes, same with me. just recently migrated. as i understand, should be the last migration scheduled to be in August for the rest of the users.

but i think that is a separate matter for me. for my case, i can install the app but i can't get to the page to enter the id/password so whether i am migrated or not is not a factor here. the app just crashed as soon as i start launching it. i even had to factory reset the TV and reinstalled the app, still same issue. so its not a problem with corrupted OS. however, when i installed the app on mi tv stick, it works fine. i installed on firetv 4k, also work fine. only problem is the app for my sharp UE630X.

it is weird, now that i know yours works fine. i thought it affects all UE630x.

Good day,

Anyone here still using good old silver set top box watching Unifi TV? Here's what happenned. Dunno if you guys have same problem.

TM annouce they upgrade STB's OS. Once upgraded, i found that the system lag when changing & manuvering between channel. Like you put in channel number, it take almost 5 second to change. Also, because of this I'm unable to turn off using remote. I have to switch off power. Wifu loves all current channel. Mine is jumbo pack.

If i were you, what do you do?

1. Throw, buy new unifi box from shopee (but not all channel in HD & afraid it will interupt internet speed. Old one use dedicated speed and mostly HD)
2. Throw, buy android box from shopee (lost all wifu favourite channel, not a fan of Netflix Iflix Kodi Spotify)
3. Change plan (totally not like it. Expensive than my current one. RM159 full channel 100mbps)
4. Let it be (which is laggy)

they r trying to force u to pay to get new STB.

i will not... i will just use it as it is until it fails.

the new app is usable on smart ATV... i like this one, use w/o STB... quality is acceptable.

You mean PlayTV? Oh. Can i know :
- any Android TV box can install it? Cause i heard some box didn't get along with Unifi apps
- if I use, does it have all channel as my current package? Mine is full pack
- does it require ID and password? Well you know silver STB don't have such thing

I recommend you get the white box from unifi (cost RM 53 and extend contract another 24 months OR pay one-off RM 360 if it’s your fault) since you are not planning to install other apps. It should be unifi’s fault because their software is laggy so mention that.

You can also get the new unifi Plus Box with Android TV, so can install apps and watch unifi TV.

- Some Android TV box/brands (Google certified ones) can install unifi TV apps with minimal problem. I tried on my Sony x80G and can work.
- Yes, all your channels as per subscription will be available.
- Yes, but make sure your account is migrated.

yes, playtv@unifi app.

there are two versions now:

v1.2.6 for smart TV's incl AndoridTV tv's.

v1.3.6 for regular android box.

u can get them from device playstore.

of course, u need a user ID and password.

if u don't have, u must ask unifi to give u.

You can also buy 2ndhand hypptv white android box, and call TM to ask them to link your account to the new box
If you want to get Android box, make sure to get Android TV box like Mi Box S so you will have lesser issue

Hi guys, my hypptv or unifitv is suddenly not working.

The cable is properly connected and I can actually view some of the preview channels or film.

But when I try to select any channels, i get the following error message at the bottom right corner

Any ideas what I should be doing

i hv a problem which u may have too - the remote power on/off button doesn't work!

so, need to manual power off.
