Hi everyone, I just downloaded the playtv@unifi on my phone

but when I login it says 'account is not yet migrated to the new playtv app'

When I download the unifi TV app from Playstore and I try to login with the same account on Mi Box S, the same error occurs

Called TM and they said now there are issues with the phone app? Is this true?

They even sent a technician to my house to for the Mi Box S issue. Could not resolve, so the technician said only the official unifi tvbox supports the app?

Here I am reading the phone app is fine and Mi Box supports unifi TV just fine. Please help me confirm?

If both are working fine then I plan to blast TM soon

Buddy, call TM or chat online and tell them you forget your password or your login ID on "unifi TV". Ask them to reset for you and test again on your TV Box. I have done this previously and after their reset, everything works fine on my NVIDIA Shield.

On Google play store there are actually 2 different apps (1 new playtv app with the new UI, and 1 older app)
I found out I can login to the old app, but when I want to login to the new app it comes out we are in the midst of migrating your account

Any way to force TM to "migrate" my account? Call center also does not know what I'm talking about

Saw info on unifi tv site showing that unifi tv now can be watched on computer. Havent try it yet.

Anyone here still using good old silver set top box watching Unifi TV? Here's what happenned. Dunno if you guys have same problem.

TM annouce they upgrade STB's OS. Once upgraded, i found that the system lag when changing & manuvering between channel. Like you put in channel number, it take almost 5 second to change. Also, because of this I'm unable to turn off using remote. I have to switch off power. Wifu loves all current channel. Mine is jumbo pack.

If i were you, what do you do?

1. Throw, buy new unifi box from shopee (but not all channel in HD & afraid it will interupt internet speed. Old one use dedicated speed and mostly HD)
2. Throw, buy android box from shopee (lost all wifu favourite channel, not a fan of Netflix Iflix Kodi Spotify)
3. Change plan (totally not like it. Expensive than my current one. RM159 full channel 100mbps)
4. Let it be (which is laggy)

- any Android TV box can install it? Cause i heard some box didn't get along with Unifi apps
- if I use, does it have all channel as my current package? Mine is full pack
- does it require ID and password? Well you know silver STB don't have such thing

Hyptv setup using silver box.
Currently have to key in user id and password every time switch on.
Play around with remote but couldn't find any place to save/change password.

Anyone knows how to fix session timeout error and it popup everytime and when this happens, while watching any programs I can hear other channels sound.

I have the 1st Gen STB (silver). Yesterday the remote not functioning. Searched online, no one seems to be selling the remote only.

Hence thinking of getting an unlocked White Box STB, so can install Netflix also.

Question: If i call Unifi to unbind Silver box and bind Unlocked White box, can be done?

I have the SVI Box, which is unrooted. Installed the App from Google Play.

When startup the app, the app notifies that the Box is unrooted and can be dangerous. It can install and run, select channels, but won't display the shows. Will show the circle thing and ask to log in.
