I dunno if this is the correct place to ask, but in any case I'll just throw this here.

I still have the original HyppTV white android box (that run on it's own VLAN). Previously I have followed this guide to separate the HyppTV and Unifi VLAN and it worked for a while. But then there was a blackout, and after everything went back online, the HyppTv box now refuse to see the routing from my managed switch. Funny thing is if I reverted back to a normal Unifi supported router and turn on IPTV from the settings, HyppTV would work fine again

So now I have to re-use my old router again just for HyppTV. Does anybody else have encountered this issue?

To add, I have also reset and reconfigured my managed switch, and even bought a new one, and it's still the same

regular unifi tv (jumbo pack) and Netflix user here..better buy mibox s install unifi app or subscribe the unifi plusbox with additional rm10 to monthly bill?

Anyone here still using good old silver set top box watching Unifi TV? Here's what happenned. Dunno if you guys have same problem.

TM annouce they upgrade STB's OS. Once upgraded, i found that the system lag when changing & manuvering between channel. Like you put in channel number, it take almost 5 second to change. Also, because of this I'm unable to turn off using remote. I have to switch off power. Wifu loves all current channel. Mine is jumbo pack.

If i were you, what do you do?

1. Throw, buy new unifi box from shopee (but not all channel in HD & afraid it will interupt internet speed. Old one use dedicated speed and mostly HD)
2. Throw, buy android box from shopee (lost all wifu favourite channel, not a fan of Netflix Iflix Kodi Spotify)
3. Change plan (totally not like it. Expensive than my current one. RM159 full channel 100mbps)
4. Let it be (which is laggy)

Hi, I currently move the mypptv box from my old house to my new house and sign up a new plan which doesn't provide TV box. (the old house uNifi not cancel). The new house unifi is under my husband name , can I connect my old tv box to my new house unifi? (old house unifi is under my name). Thank you!

if your subscription incl the box, that box is binded to it.

simply using another box won't work.

in the past, some were able to get unifi to rebind in new line.

but no more, i think... they got clever... or calculative.
if u have a new smart TV that runs on AndroidTV, that will be best - just download and activate from playstore.

works very well, quality is acceptable... i have been using it for many weeks now.

If I plug the cable to another port for Internet I get connection.
My Unifi account does not include Unifi Play TV, does that mean I can't use vlan 600? No network signal to whichever port I set to IPTV.
The Unifi STB is from a relative with another account. It worked before when I was using 50mbps Unifi, doesn't work now after I changed to Fiber 100mbps new account that doesn't include Play TV account. Any ideas? Thanks.
I tested using 2 routers, Archer C1200 and AX73, both with the same results. Configure Malaysia - Unifi with Lan1 - IPTV or Lan4 IPTV also same.

VLAN600 is just bridged so it supposedly will work independently from your main Internet account (VLan 500). I am reading in the Unifi thread that some people are having issues also with VLAN600, but most of them with Microtik. You are using the Archer C1200, which is Unifi supported, so there shouldn't be an issue. That is really weird   

Oh so I’m unable to watch TvN. Thanks because this is not my personal account. I don’t know the real package, but the agent told my gf that confirmed can watch with the new black unifi tvbox.

TM also curious why I’m not able to watch free channel. The problem is the agent told us that once you upgraded and you still able to watch the same Ruby package like before.

I don’t want to argue with you and I just want to know what happened. Conclusion, I won’t able to watch anything with the black tvbox so I need to pay monthly for this lame device for nothing??

With many devices support unifi tv such as android tv & apple tv, playtv for smartphone n tablet, tm can slowly kill the vlan for tv. Only 30Mbps package have options for tv, the rest still compulsory.

Mine are BASIC after activate.. cannot pair with tivo. Is this normal?

Just an update from me. Apparently, VIU send an otp from this number : 63350.  The reason I couldnt get OTP, I suspect, it was my telco issue. I'm using Yoodo telco that blocks certain 5 digit sms number. Anyway, that problem has been resolved now after I reported my problem to both Yoodo and TM.

i received an email from unifi saying to upgrade to ultimate with upb, not sure is the first version or second version, and will the picture quality will be worst than the previous huawei? as the current huawei picture quality is very good compared to my current xiaomi tv stick hypptv app.
