expected economy will be down for the next few yrs, so good luck

I resigned from well paying salaried job during a economic upturn, still took a long time to get cash flow started again. Do not reccommend unless you have steel balls

I quit my job (3 months notice) without new job offer also. Ayam foreveralone no commitments; parents richer than me, give them money also suddenly become mine again.

I saved quite a bit when I was working, enough to last at least 1 year with my spending habits. So now I can just stay home and be charsiew for some time before I even bother to look for a new job

Done that. The struggle. No commitment that time, but feels like a beggar.

if you're jobless for far too long period, then this will be an opportunity for recruiters to lowball you because they know you're desperate for a job.

Ha, yes. Another job related thread in kopitiam. I have been contemplating to tender my resignation since September last year but I have been holding back due to various reasons. One of it is I have no job offer currently that will encourage me to throw the letter to my HR dept.

For those fellow members in here who tendered without any job offer in sight, I really respect you guys for being so courageous.

I tendered and preparing to work my own business plan. Ya no income in sight for some time.

Will need to rely of fd. Just work out the ass for a goood business plan and execute it.
