I even give you the reasonable of doubt, thinking might be its the other hardware, thus I send 2 different computer shop to diagnose each hardware. Both also conclude GPU issues. Computer is fine once GPU swapped.

I got sapphire hd7850. One day i was browsing thet web then suddenly hang (BSOD) then unable to boot into windows since then.

Tried reformatting it worked, managed to boot into windows but still crashed after installing driver.

Any idea what is the issue and approximately how long and how much to fix?

Reball gpu chip, 2-3 days to fix, only remove the gpu chip, change the solder ball & solder back to pcb board using bga machine. Cost 1xx

Finally my GTX780 is up and running perfectly again. I am a returning customer and as always ts get the job done on this unit too. Sent 2 units for repair to ts this time and both GTX 780 and GTX760 are running great again. I already know ts back on 2 years ago and he repaired this same unit back then. I even traveled from Kedah to his place to collect back my GPU back then after he repaired it. He did show me the tools and all the things that he used to repair mine and the others, pretty friendly guy I can say.

I read back some of the pages in this thread and I see some of the people here have similar symptom as my GTX780 which is, if using it for working or web browsing, no issue at all. But as soon as I ran some game, the whole PC will crash and restart automatically again. Then I decided to send it to ts for repair again and now it is working normally again. So, I highly recommend those who have issue with their GPU, get ts to repair them for you. He even provide a warranty in case something not working again after you tried it at home. One more thing, please directly whatsapp ts at his number to discuss the issue better with him. All the best to ts and if there are any issue with other GPU, I'll surely sent it to him for repair!

I have a gtx 960 strix. It have overheating problem. Wash the fans and heatsink. Change new thermal paste and put custom fan curve.. But it keep crashing after 15 minutes in game.. I suspect its a vram overheating but not sure. What do u think is the problem? How much to repair it?

Today finally able to collect back the card.

But sadly in short, the card still not working.

Armand explain that, there might be problem with the GPU cores itself, might need another GPU core replacement.
Will take about another 2 weeks time to check if he has the replacement.
