Taken my GPU for over 2 months end up doing nothing, wasted my time and the postage fee.

AMD Radeon R9 390
suspect affecting my pc, sometimes hang when watching video, or display won't refresh (example - i delete a shortcut from desktop, if i don't press F5 (refresh) the shortcut stays there)
how much to service and how long it takes? as i need to use my pc daily as I'm working from home now

Same here, just like what the above say, I send over my GPU in April, waited till August no news and whatsoever, have to beg hin multiple time to get it done.
Then told me its done and when I collect and try it back home, nothing work. Worst thing, I open up and sees some of the Vram are being change. Most likely change my Vram to other gpu.

Could be worst, thanks god I insist to check the GPU before payment. Already felt a little fishy when he refuse to show it working on the spot when I collect.

I had engage a few computer shop to diagnose and all of them say GPU is not functioning.

Pls beware or at least check again before payment.
I had to make an account here to report this so that others wont fall for this.

whats gpu you send to me? so far i only change the VRAM for the same model, and if not working you can send back becoz i provide warranty, other model cannot function, show me some prove that i take your vram to other GPU. these is no point to desoldering used VRAM and put to other GPU, becoz the VRAM wont lasts long and will not do that, i rather buy new VRAM becoz it comes with 1 month supplier warranty. within 1 month if got problem i will replace the VRAM or i give full refund

this one halfway done, and i got quarantine, he did call me and i send back as the way he send to me before. i put all the parts together. same as before

I sent my gpu to a so called gpu repairer at Shah Alam, took forever to repair it, never update, then when I call, keep on saying still testing but in actual fact did nothing, after 1 and a half month or so suddenly tell me ok edi, tell me to go take back, but never test and show me, once I reach home, the gpu still not working, send back again, only to be told vram spoiled. Ask for refund as they give warranty, only wanna refund half. WTF. I don’t wanna say more, you guys think carefully before send over your gpu. That was my bad experience with one of the gpu repairer. Sorry for my bad English.

Warranty you said, if only you replied my message when I keep texting you telling its not working.
And why it is only when post here then you start taking attention? It alright, I learned my lesson and just hope other won't fall for it.

Message for everyone: if the repair took longer than 2 month, you shall start asking or at least post here to get his attention. Hope it help.

This is exactly the same case as mine, but mine even longer, it took him 4 month. I send on April, and after that he said Raya not working, I am perfectly fine so I gave another 1months, then MCO happened, I was thinking its fine also because its not what he could control, so I gave another 2months.
Now total 3 months, then once again he told me part ordering coming from other country and again I gave him 1 more months, now total 4 months waiting.
He told me at first need re-balling then say Vram issues.

At the end I cant take the delay anymore and I give my final request, its either fix or I take back.
Then only he told me repair is done and repair fees is RM900++. Without hesitate I agreed because I thought finally the long wait, its being fixed.

As soon as I get back, tried my GPU, then only I realized it still not working. Message him, no reply.

Message to everyone, If the above sound familiar, you should start getting back your GPU. Seem like I am not the only person experience this.

you can call me if im not reply the message becoz my prohe broke down, did you pay RM 900? no, if im not mistaken i ask you to take back and test the gpu, if not function you can send back. yes the part take long to order due to shortage of parts, but not all parts, others customer also i told that and most of it can hold until parts arrive, and i get the job done.

Note for my other customers, for those who send me the gpu, last 2 weeks im not reply your message becoz my phone broke down, please whatsapp again or call me. thank you
