Settings... display.. hdr to sdr, sdr to hdr both OFF.

screen resolutiom to auto...will be 2160p 60hz for 4k tv.

Color depth ON, color space 420.

For local playback, kodi probably give best results.

The PQ of TX3 is certainly not as good compared to costlier boxes.

But is acceptable. Sharpness a little lacking but not pixelated for astrogo hd channels.

it's a setting, not a must.

if u turn on hdr->sdr, hdr stream will lose hdr effect, no good.
if u turn on sdr->hdr, sdr (most common) streams will get a lousy "upscale", looks bad.

still, u can try and see how diff streams come out on your TV with diff settings.

Already try, still same..PQ not sharp and pixelated. Also in color depth, no option for ON only OFF available

What tv r u using?

Your problem may be due to just poor internet speed.

Check also yr hdmi connection, cable....

Ok noob question here because i just got my box..
Can we just UNPLUGGED / SWITCH OFF directly for SHUTDOWN..
or do we have any step for it..scared not proper nanti rosak..

To shutdown I think better proper way i.e long press power button on remote you'll see small pop up on screen where you can select shutdown/restart/screenshot.

Or you can set power button to shutdown on single click, there is a setting on that on settings menu (powerkey definition).

Iam using samsung smart tv 4k year 2017

my internet speed is ok 30mbps using cable. Youtube working fine, PQ sharp and also can play in 4K. The problem only when using astro go.

I tried just now, there is small pop up, but it show HDR not shutdown/restart.

on Alice menu..below got volume etc..or shutdown from there?

What box that you have ? I have tx3 now, used to use tx3 mini.
Anyway you can use that shutdown button too.

I have same device as yours. Weird, never see hdr pop-up.

Check settings-droid settings-powerkey definition .. you can select shutdown for one click press on remote to shutdown the device.

unplug all cables, reconnect and try again.

it may be some CEC issue.

is tx3 directly connected to tv?

already unplug and reconnect..
now ok already..can shutdown using basic remote at menu.. (i got 1 basic remote and 1 mx3)

got 2 weid things on here.
1. droid setting i cant shutdown..maybe need basic remote too for shutdown..
2. for start i need to click 3 times to appear the menu after boot..

yr troubles , i think, are due to yr assumptuon that yr mx3 remote can do same as orig remote.

NO... other than orig remote, any other remote will NOT be able to control ON/OFF, shutdown.

this applies to ALL boxes... unless u have the expertise to rekey, remap, reprogram some other remote control.
