today airport queue very fast

1st time i waiting the queue and though numbers show a lots, actually i waited less than 45 mins to get trip back KL...

but fare RM75 for a trip 72km i think is abit underpaid by crap...
*
whenever seeing 1km less than RM1 after commission deduction i already feel not worthy to drive for ehailing anymore

nowadays, e.g from kepong (when demands a bit higher)

to kotaraya also only RM18-19

to PJ amcorp only RM25-26

to Shah Alam only RM35 ....

and from pj sinchew area back to kepong only RM18 (16km) when there is less demands in PJ, really bad

i hope they revert back to old pricing model at least RM1.10 or more per km at different timing

after july 12, grab and any ehailing company only can charge maximum 20% according to e-hailing Act.

so would it be on AA = 15%, no AA = 20%?

if no difference, new driver also say bye bye to AA

4 months to go, grab issued press statement dissatisfied of pace of gov related agency to facilitate legalizing drivers process, but then does it itself start to do mandatory rider registration process with valid id documents?

1 finger point out then 4 fingers points towards back

got grab punya org attended?

definitely 100% disagree

as this also sounds other ehailing companies shut down immediately including mycar due to poor income + long working time + high cost

MOT as gov agency, as political considerations - care of voter ticket in next election.

would taxi association has that substantial influential power to cut votes away, that unknown.

but, without 90% ehailing cars on the street, peoples who used to it in the past few years sure enraged to get back to taxi cut throat price, that confirm affect vote. PH sure not that kind of stupid.

gov want to 'regulate' ehailing industry
taxi want to 'shut down' ehailing industry

it is a clear line there

When Uber was around, most of you chose to become Grab ambassadors.
Now miss Uber pulak  doh.gif
*
it was its role as competitor that matters

just like what go-jek do to sg market

we need go-jek here as heavy weight competitor then all the goodies would pop up again

Did you read post #2399 carefully?
He said 'uber ate grab', not as competitor.
*
i did not read previous thread, just a reply

at the age of uber vs grab, ppl becomes grab ambassador just because of better offer.

what matters is competition to stay, regardless who ate who, once get eaten only 1 left nothing to be missed any more

it would be same fate today if uber here, grab gone.

just my opinion and experience.

if i am so competent and dedicate in driving crap, better i use the same time in other career.

crap is just no career path and high risk with uncertainty.

driving crap for many is just because no other alternative yet. or many as part tiem only

in 2019, no one what to be successful in driving crap
*
true true true

and some still like to show GROSS EARNING AMOUNT in either press or fb alike

or show us the sg grab fare

- bear in mind , after deducting all direct cost - grab commission -fuel -repair reserve, only 50% NETT FARE, not to count in health issue for those drive long time a day. GROSS RM300 woohaa? actually only RM150 in pocket after 16 hours.

- malaysia grab fare is low, low, low!

- no expertise to gain. driving 30 years still the same, and experience depreciate so fast just see how easily a navigation app waze can replace a 30 years route sound taxi driver and let rookie perform even better can navigate into every lorong

- no medical benefits, no epf, no social protection, and even bank loan official looks down upon u ... very sad

- the worst part of this ehailing industry is no driver dignity at all, rider can emotionally rate for driver, driver beg for 5 star or just silently to endure any rider wrong doing like wrong pick up point, wrong drop off point or direct u go east go west else one would hear " I WILL COMPAIN U"

*
g service centre is outsourced if not mistaken. office in empire damansara.

just wondering after july will the demand surcharge goes high due to lots of driver quit..
*
by theory, same high demands with less drivers = higher fare, right?

but in real life later, i assume it only DARE up 1 or 2 ringgit,

X2 fare? rider also quit grab platform and back to taxi straight away. got drivers then less ping because expensive fare.

they (ehailing companies) have been promoting lower fare all the time, grab fight with mycar for even lower fare, do not expect rider would accept higher fare without complaining.

600 only. Will check with them tomorrow
OK, thanks.
Dr cermin is your insurance company panel? Tinted how much?
*
for windscreen insurance claim, need not find any so-called panel shop

windscreen shop would have access to most insurance companies, but for certain insurance company which they think very troublesome to claim may reject u. Thus they usually ask which insurance company and how much insured? Bring your cover note, driving license , ic. They just need take photo of the crack windscreen then already can proceed to change for u.

RM600 is it for myvi alike? good enough to cover ori windscreen + tint. Find one windscreen shop in lowyat forum here operate at pandan mewah KL

last year i went there claim, ok. free tint surprisingly good also.

To be honest I also dunno, not really car enthusiast  sweat.gif. But he did open some components related to brake system from the front engine bay near the brake oil there, take off everything clean up, then reassemble back. Then do some special adjustment to make the brake stronger especially the rear, as by default he say saga rear brake power is quite low and normal mechanic usually won't do this important step.

Then open all front and rear brake system, service everything, sand paper to the place needed, check brake pump/pad still ok or not.

After that, they did something like brake bleeding? Dunno whether i heard it correctly. Pump the brake then fill in some brake fluid and keep repeating for few times.

Then handbrake adjustment, reduce the tyre pressure and lastly the owner uncle Ramly himself will be the one to drive your car to test the braking system, he want to make sure their staff do the service properly.

Total cost rm150, took about 70 mins and job perform by one person.

for one time puspakom test, some folks out even over thoudsands where i saw in fb

back to proton case, some questioning is there a corruption that puspakom pass proton new car initial inspection but then claim proton car failed brake test in routine check?
