New car better go back to SC for warranty period, u go outside can easily void your warranty.

If maintenance, better use a better engine oil to protect your car, change gear oil on time, service air-cond, change radiator coolant every year etc. Brake pad lifespan is really depends on your driving style, can't advise on that matter.

after 12 July how to cope with the amount of 10k in whole malaysia?

I know for the fact from the horses mouth that the riders would cancel the request whenever they see Alza either it is from one riders or 6 pax.  it is uncomfortable to ride the alza where it is actually known to be 4 plus 2 seaters instead of 6 seaters MPV. The same situation whenever riders sees Axia where there is a high chance of cancellation within minutes for Just Grab. 

Just wonder how many Grab drivers are finish the whole PSV and EVP process. How many will be stop driving on 12 Oct..

My story yesterday, ard 11am got a ping from wisma UOA2, 17th floor which is kind of weird, but then their destination is Ben's Independent Grocer, IPC, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

Reached UOA but grab app problem connecting thus dragged for ard 20mins to online/offline, restart phone, make loops (chased away by guards), then surprisingly passenger still not yet cancel and i am able contact rider. They told me they are at mandarin hotel instead, and can wait for me. thought of hmm should i just claim my RM3. But then don't wanna stuck in KL city for the jam and short trips thus make myself there and pickup them.

Reach hotel, tourist from china. After confirming their name and destination, started my drive then they asked about how much if to airport and they plan to come back to hotel at 1pm by a booked hotel limo. 

Lol less than one and a half hour plan go to mutiara damansara and comeback hotel, china tourists going to a gorcery shop so far, doesn't make sense !? i checked back with them the destination then they told me "independent something something" with a picture of dataran merdeka.  They meant independent square and simply type in 

Not able to change destination for some reason, asked them to cancel and proceeded to drive them to dataran merdeka, back to hotel and airport (they cancelled hotel limo)   

Later that night going home picked up two pinoy ladies from sunway pyramid, asking if they can get some food before reaching their hotel. I recommended rock cafe coz its on the way and quite convenient. Since they don't have data, asked if i can wait while they tapao, and leaving their shopping stuff in my car. I am not in a hurry and last job before i reach home, so Yea why not.  i dropped them while double parked, saw a car come out from legit parking nearby, parked my car and another car double park my initial space. So yeah, quite predictably watching them walking with foods then enter the wrong car with the driver confused was kinda hilarious 

i honked my car afterwards and can see them LOL-ing while returning to my car, yet i still tease them asking don't you all feel scared when open the car door and realized all the stuff was gone lol   Got some tips at the end of the trip

For the TB case, it is clearly they have written they will hold your TB/GS incentive until u submit PSV license. TBH it is fair to those drivers who obtain PSV. recently the amount of driver supply is just too much. Heck even part timer like me already completed all the government regulation, with the 3 months soft landing period i think it is more than enough, i only took half day leave just for PSV application at JPJ office.
About the daily insurance, if u drive more than 90-120 days, it is better to take annual insurance, mine cost about RM180 (Axa) for a RM54k car (with 55% NCD). U sendiri calculate on your own.

EVP require 3 documents:-
1. PSV
2. VOC (Vehicle ownership cert from JPJ) - which clearly state your car information
3. Puspakom cert (for more than 3 years)

If u lack of any one document i really doubt grab will submit for u, they have to pay RM110 and currently so many application recently. It is very clear that EVP require all the above documents then only process.

Went to GDC for medical today

Never been to a doctor before as everything is okay with me. Even BP
ranges from 120 to 136. Must be the anxiety in the medical test room
which made my BP shoot sky high. Suggested that I get somebody to send me tmrw morning as the walk may be the cause but Dr said no.

Dr Guru Paran gave me a chit to get treatment from Govt Hospital
and come back for test again. He said 150/95 with medication is still OK for PSV

I am passing this info here as I know many retirees like me need to cari makan. So .... go for medication before GDC check up ya !

Today ( 24th ) I went to a government clinic for BP Check. It was 146/94
and the doctor said she cannot give me medication as it may cause fainting if BP is low. She said my BP is ok for my age ( 63 ). So tomrw I will do GDC again to see Dr Guru.

Really need income as retirement is too boring. Anyone knows any private GP who is on Grab panel ( PJ or KL ) who is lenient ?I need my PSV fast to start.

guys, regarding the Fire Extinguisher, how do you mount the Fire Extinguisher in your car? before this, i only put the Fire Extinguisher in my car booth with a paper box.

- can i do pro-rated as my road tax will expire on april 2020?
- can i buy ehailing insurance from different insurer? (example, auto insurance under AIA bu ehailing insurance under Etiqa)
